Gaaah, I need to stop being late with these updates...one might think I'm pregnant, hey-ooo!

But this has been a pretty productive week, like the overhauled journal being finished.
It looks pretty much like the preview screenshot from last week, but the color palette to show weaknesses have been replaced with letters instead, going from A to F.

I also spent several days trying to figure out the limitations of the RPG Maker XP engine in terms of what it'll allow as animations in battle, having to repeat a really time consuming and boring method I'll spare you all...but in the end, I've found out Final Fantasy styled summons are a go, and the first one has been included in the game! What this means is that you'll be able to call for a powerful ally that'll trigger an (naughty) animation with the featured character before dealing heavy damage/states to all enemies, and the first one out is Roseus! (As hinted a while back)
And lastly, I've also finished adding Ra'Tiki as a tent candidate and just need to tweak her dialogue for the various options before she is a go!

So with that, I'll hopefully not be as late next Tuesday!

  2. I shouldn't be surprised, but I am, specifically at how much you've evolved the vanilla XP engine after all these years. Pleasant surprise indeed.

Also hi, it's been a while since I posted a comment but I've definitely been reading the updates every week!

    1. It isn't so much evolving, as it is finding out new tricks to pull...like how the engine doesn't even have lightning effects, although you could certainly think differently when playing Origin. x3

  3. >.> say..I know it kinda doesnt fit todays progress update..but you can actually find enough Costum Cloth for Mhu'tikis costume...I found 2 so far, but cant find more. Anyone knows about something like "one is behind that one hidden explosive wall, that wasnt there before the last patch"?

  4. Will the summons be like ff6 one time attack or ff10 replacing the party?

  5. Well considering the nature of the Legend of Queen Opala series saying "trying to figure out the limitations of the RPG Maker XP" really activates the imagination!

  6. Maybe I can fund a Cian edition where all the CG is replaced with all the girls reminding Devon that they are virgins saving themselves for marriage...... to the Giga Lardos 😍

  7. Just out of curiosity, how is the emerald gem and mirror system coming? Been looking forward to that since I heard about it.

    1. No progress yet since I finalized the overall look/layout of the shop, but making it fully functional will take quite some time and it's not something I can focus on for the time being.

  8. Awesome I got some interesting ideas for summons, like a busty sexy succubus demon or goddess. Doing a milky tit or if it's a futa demigod shooting cum load on the enemy creatures lol

    1. Gabe is in fact Female. Though I understand why you would think that way. Girls don't often make games like this one after all.

  12. do you have a rough ETA for the next full build? I keep reading these update posts and get more and more excited about the next full build. If not cool as well, good things come to those who wait and all that.

    1. Probably at least a couple months away. Maybe early next year not sure. Gabe said she would try releasing one each year or so and there are going to be 4 parts this time instead of 3.
