This week I have a new character to introduce, but whatever she'll be available for romancing or not remains a secret!
This mysterious woman who call herself Illumi will replace Fortuna from the previous games, and will act more as a guide for the protagonist, rather than just giving out secrets like her previous counterpart.
For the players, this basically means you can visit her at any time to get the latest clue for what you need to do or go next to advance the story, in case you forget! I thought that would be much more fun and engaging than just looking at a information briefing in a journal or in the options, but she will at the same time also be part of the main story, and not just be a optional character...

DeleteIf I ever manage to get around to it, I'll play the Western version. I don't have any hard feelings for the Eastern version or anything like that. It's simply due to Sparrow's art blending so perfectly with the world of LoQO.

DeleteI would love it if you could pay her to give you a hint about where a ruby coin/illustration/trading card/(insert other collectable) that you haven't collected is. Especially with things like teh ruby coins that don't have an individual identifier, you can't even get help from someone who has found it because you don't know which one you are missing! It's infuriating when you are just missing one (flashbacks to Golden Old Coins from LoQOII).
ReplyDeleteSadly, it would take a shitload of internal triggers to keep track of every individual Ruby Coin, we're talking maybe 1/3 of ALL the triggers in the entire game. xD
DeleteAnd it should be easy enough to keep track of which illustrations you have or not, since they're all numbered. :3
Would it be possible to track the coins in an external file like the Trophies are?

About the last poll I couldnt really decide I really liked the sound scenes in the first part a lot, but the scenes in 2 were really awesome and diverse too so I couldnt really decide.

DeleteHow many different scenes can you get at the Highland Inn? I've played through several times with different choices and I only seem to get either No scene, Protagonist/Farah, or Protagonist/Farah/Kythe. Am I missing out on any?
ReplyDeleteThose are the three core differences, then there are several variations to each one of those as well...and it'll also be expanded upon in a later beta.
