It was getting pretty ding darn close, but I did a goodie!
Aaaaand to expand upon that nonsensical sentance, I meant I finally finished that climactic ending to episode 3 the other day with all dialogue, movement patterns and emoticons done! Although I'll likely double-check it once or twice before I roll out the final version.
With that out of the way, I'm currently extending another cutscene in Darkthorn Keep while adding a mini-boss to it, and also planning two more, small cutscenes taking place right after the last arc of episode 3 to wrap things up nicely.
I'm confident I'll be releasing the last beta this month, but the official release of episode 3 have to wait just a liiiiittle bit longer to ensure everything is done and polished.
So, that means I'll see you again next week as always!
all we can do is hope

ReplyDeleteAnd its the most aggressive sprite in the game!
DeleteI cant wait for the finished game^^
ReplyDeleteHonestly, yours might be one of maybe a handfull of hentai games I actually play for the game and not just for the porn^^
I'm rather excited what I have accomplished with the story, so I hope the fans will enjoy it too. ^^
DeleteIT'S COMIIIIING!! *grinds levels and flails like magikarp*
ReplyDeleteHmm, that reminds me to maybe nerf some enemies and raise the rewards... x3
DeleteThat might actually not be the worst idea. The worst part of your games was always how strong all the enemys became lategame... I mean, i understand bosses, but even trash mobs in LOQO1 ended up with what felt like a gazillion health and way to heavy attacks. Combat was never the strong part of RPG-Maker games, and having such strong enemys really only takes away from the experience, because you cant really dfo much more than grind grind grind to become better^^
DeleteI don't remember struggling with late game enemies in LOQO 1 (been a long time since I played it, I could be wrong), but I remember pretty well that I never finished 2. I hit the grind wall with a certain boss in that game and gave up. Balancing enemies is a troublesome thing, but definitely very important.
DeleteYeah LOQO 2 was rough near the end. Fun game, though.
DeleteHaha YES
ReplyDeleteThe crowds going wild something tells me you BETA release it soon...:p
ReplyDeleteETA on the BETA is NEATA!
DeleteWell I've got to say to that is, right-on daddio!
DeleteHopefully you won't have to wait that long, but some of the reasons behind the delay is beyond my control. <:3
ReplyDeleteno worries, take your time and don't stress too much
ReplyDeleteHey, Gabe! Check this out!

Farah and snake.
Is the lategame pregnancy system ready? :)
ReplyDeletePretty sure gave has said that's close to endgame content, if so you have approximately another year or so to wait.
DeleteI also have to ask: Will I be able to simply transfer my save file over on the last release? I would hate to lose my game-play.
ReplyDeleteYou've always been able to. Either move the individual file to the new game folder, or just override the save folder completely with your current one
DeleteGreat. Didn't much feel like redoing 25 hours on a new character.
DeleteWill it be possible to romance Laquadia in Episode III? So far our only interactions with her result in negative affection gains. Usually Osira has been the evil path but I'm guessing that if she's an option she'll be the same type.
ReplyDeleteno
DeleteI guess that means I'm gonna still be waiting for Episode IV
DeleteWhat is the Immemorial Glade anyway? Gives me the heeber jeebers what with those hollow men.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I asked that myself; but I don't think Gabe is gonna tell us. This might be a spoiler.
