Aw'right, so this week I've mostly been working on trading cards and polishing up a few things for the next beta which will be released this upcoming Friday! :D
I didn't had time to include all the new locations for this one, so the portion of the map that'll include those will still be locked away for the time being, but the beta will still have some new content such as a new mini-scene and remade caves to be compatible with the new lantern effect.
With that short update, have another preview of the two latest cosplay models added to the roster!

DeleteWell I suppose it would be impossible to find a woman with Adult Farah's "gifts" but this model is very pretty.

I can just imagine the Adult Farah model: "You want me to do WHAT with the horse? The 5 men sure, and the dogs I can do after I had a few drinks but I'm going to need double the cash if you want me to rimjob that pony."

DeleteJust want to say: I freaking loved your games till now. Opala 1 was nice, if a bit short, but when I got my hands on Opala 2, it was all so awesome. Big world that felt so much alive, so much to do, so much to see... you rarely see so much work put into a porn game. Seriously, while playing it, I sometimes forgot it was a porn game, until I found another picture or a scene started.

Only thing I actually happen to dislike is that battles in Opala 2 became very frustrating for like the second half of the game, because every freaking random enemy had tons of HP and took forever to be killed, even with the best Items you can buy and decent levels.
I think your goal was to make the game more challenging, but in the end, it only made me want to avoid the enemys all together. In the end it was so bad, I saved every few steps and when I accidently started a fight, I prefered to restart the game...
Please dont make that mistake again, Battles are never that special in RPG Maker anyway, just please dont make them that frustrationg again. Your story is good enough and your world enjoyable enough to look past too easy battles, but when fights take forever, it gets boring :)

Farah's dress came off really fast, so it didn't had so high priority. ;3
DeleteAnd sadly there isn't any additional story to the beta, unless you count the side-objective for triggering the new mini-scene.
I can count it :) I mean, I know that it would be tough to add story so soon when you are still building the world. I was just hoping we could be introduced officially to Layla and the others for a little. But I will enjoy the mini scene! And can't wait to see more of the Farah Cosplay.

Well, you should install RPG maker. Then download the game, have something to uncompress it with. And you should be able to play. If you have windows 8 there should be a free uncompress app you can install. If you have any more problems you'll have to wait for Gabe or someone else to help you cause they'd be more knowledgeable.
DeleteI've been trying to play LoQO II Golden, and the game keeps freezing for me when I try to input a name for my character. I usually only manage to make it three characters into the name before the entire thing locks up. The music keeps playing.
ReplyDeleteNo amount of google or asking on forums has revealed to me any kind of solution, so I decided to try asking you, Gabe. This is your creation, so I'm hoping you have more experience and can point me in the right direction for a fix.
I tried multiple different downloads for the game. I have thr RPGMaker XP-RTP, which I've uninstalled and reinstalled in case there was an issue there.
I've even tried launching in a virtual machine and got an entirely different error ("Script is hanging").
Please help.
Never heard of that issue before, I can only fix problems that are caused by me making a mistake.
DeleteBut if that were the case, the game would freeze for everyone.
So I have no idea what the problem is, most likely a compatibility issue between the game and your OS/Firewall.
