While I knew Colussia was big and would take a long time to finish, I had no idea the difference was going to end up being as vast as it turned out to be...
Because while Colussia took a month to update with all the new layouts, this week alone I've already finished Port Ronod, Rivulet Hills, Caimridge and Fellhorn Ruins.
And that is despite doing a lot of rewriting, since apparently the first cutscene in Caimridge was so old it didn't reflect you could be a beastman...or that beastmen lived outside of the Land of Savages in general, but also some Laquadia/Osira interractions needed to be changed to better reflect how the story has evolved over the decade.
But that'll be all for now, see you next week!
thats really nice to hear didnt expect the rest to go on with so fast :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, how long Colussia took probably freaked out a lot of people...myself included, so it's been a huge relief that location did indeed take a darn long time only because it had such a massive amount of "events"!
DeleteI hope some of the grammatical issues also got cleaned up in the re-writes. I’ll look forward to re-experiencing everything when it’s done.
ReplyDeleteThose I find and/or see will certainly be fixed!
Deletehi gabe when would you suggest to play a new playthrough? i mean would be safe for me to start a new one for the next beta would i miss new content in future of the beggining have been already remastered? :)
ReplyDeleteNext beta would be the best place to start a new playthrough with all the updates to early-game content. While it'll restrict how far you'll be able to progress, that limit will be quickly raised with each additional beta after that!
Deletei am sorry to bother you so if i understand if i start a new playthgourh when the next beta starts i can start all over without worrying to miss beggining content all while waiting for updates am i right?
DeleteYup, each beta will prevent progress beyond what has been finished/updated, so there is no worry you'll accidentally get too far ahead!
DeleteHi gabe, i have a question, for the eminent quartet mission i have to catch a lewd latcher but i can't seem to be able to catch one, im using best bait and lure, but i cant find best pole. Any tips how i can catch the lewd latcher?
ReplyDeleteI thought it was available in a few spots...but no, apparently only the Eastern Lighthouse fishing spot currently has the Lewd Latcher in its pool of catches.
DeleteThat is the location north of Odidania.
