Legend of Queer Opal - Origin

So this is an odd turn of events.
It looks like a certain company has a patent on the word "Origin".
While this mean they have taken over publishing rights for my next game, I can assure you nothing will change and the quality will absolutely not dimish one bit as they have a long standing track record of delivering perfect games of highest production value!
And I'm really not saying it because they're paying me!

Though there will be some "improvements" to help innovate the game.
However, these things are so tiny that you'll hardly notice any difference at all, such as including microtransactions and selling you back most parts of the original game in form of DLC.
But yeah, it's a FPS now.

And if you haven't guessed it already - April's Fool Day! :D

    1. .... I know you're joking... but I can't help but think how awesome it would be if a major game company acknowledged and supported your game.

    2. It would sadly be very heavily cencored most likely, no major game company supports AO games due to moral standards.

    3. And EA are experts in destroying games not making them.

    2. gabriel. if you ever make a 3d LOQO game with occulus rift support i'd definitely be first to buy an oculus rift! (and then your game! haha) first person mode as opala/osira/farah/main protagonist? i'd do it in a heartbeat.

  3. FPS means Farah Penis Sucker.

Actually if there was a FPS Opala, that would be awesome, POV with all the girls. It would feel like being there.

OR EVEN BETTER, POV AS FARAH!

    1. Sadly, you'd have to buy the decensor DLC, but it'd only be like $9,99! ;P

  5. Well, atleast its better than Valve. Although it would make a great gift for my great grandkids 21th birthday alongside HL3, Portal 3 and all other games with 3 in the title.

PS. I so sorry Lord Gaben, I promise, I'll spend my next paycheck on your sales DX

  6. Given the size and volume of 'shooting' in this game, maybe being an Fps won't make much of a difference :P

  7. You almost had me LOL.....but I gotta say for a game like LOQO I wouldn't mind DLC it micro transactions. I know gamers freak out about it now but if it's for LOQO, take even more of my money!!!

    1. Nah, don't worry, microtransactions will never happen. xD
And any "DLC" will always be released for free!

    1. I think it's very unlikely we'll see her...and even if we did, she'd be at least 60 years old. x3

    2. Not if she appears in her younger form :3
Well as long as we get you as a playable party member and in scenes I'm satisfied ^_^

  11. If it were true, I'd have to say that as long as Activision wasn't calling the shots, it still could be worse.

  12. So, have you been able to get any good sleep yet?
And have you ever thought of having a back-up programmer for the games in case unforeseen circumstances prevented you from working on it?

    1. Well all the repair/renovation work will resume this week, but I did get some sleep last week, which in turns allowed me to focus enough to actually get some writing down for the game...but more of that in the next update.

As for getting a "back-up" programmer, I'm not sure I could do that...I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I would get very paranoid. x3
