Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Update

Thanks for all the support you guys gave me after the previous update, I appreciate it! :D

So, since last week I've been patching up a few minor issues in the game, added a little hard-to-miss secret, but spent most of the time with working on the gallery unlock mechanic I've been mentioning in the past and which the "Boss Gem" will be used for.
A preview of how it'll look is added below, but remember it's a work in progress and not final, so it may change in some ways with how it looks and what'll cost x amounts of Boss Gems.

Now, let me take a moment to explain how it'll all work!
Considering how some scenes have different outcomes and all variations might not be possible to unlock in a single playthrough, then add all the different CG styles you can choose, that would make for a LOT of playthroughs if you wish to unlock everything the game has to offer.
However, with this gallery mechanic, every scene you have come across in any version will become available for purchase in all the styles, Boss Gems will also be renamed and become more easier to obtain so you can get more of them in a single playthrough.
This way, it'll be up to you as a player if you want to play through the game multiple times because you enjoy the experience, or you can speed up you process by saving up Boss Gems and unlock already seen sequences in the gallery!

And no, Boss Gem's will not be available seperately as microtransactions... ;)

So yeah, see you guys again next week as always!

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Defense Mode Engaged!

It's kinda sad when I have to bring something like this up.
Usually I can shrug off negative feedback and false statements since I don't have to prove anything, my work does it for me, but it's when it gets under my skin and I start to doubt myself that things get a bit more complicated.
I'm referring to the accusations that I've become slower since I started up my Patreon, and hearing whispers for months have made me wondering if there was actually any truth to that...and in a twist that should surprise no one, there isn't!

So, let's deal with the subject like adults and bring out the facts, shall we? ;)

Seeing this list of my past work...where exactly do people find I've gotten slower?
This surely won't end the discussion, but seeing this for myself is enough for me to not feel bad about it anymore and allows me to ignore people talking behind my back about it with good conscious.

And with that, the topic has been dropped and won't never need to be brought up again.
So in other news, I'm sure you might've noticed the new layout of the blog! I'm also getting back to working on episode III now after my short "vacation" and is currently laying out the remaining worldmap for the Beldorian Empire. :3

So with that, I'll see you again next week!

Here we are again, after the release of Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Episode II v2.01!
Obviously, this update will be very short and basically contain no information besides the download link to episode 2 of LoQOO, in case you didn't realize the text above was a URL. ;)
So, yeah...! Since last Tuesday, not much else has been done besides launching the public release and spending the following days pointing folks in the right direction.

Although, I suppose I could mention that if you haven't noticed the recent update to my Patreon, I'm now also rewarding access to LoQO based comics/doujins for $5 pledges and the tiers above.
But let's be honest, nobody will be reading this in the first place since you should be too busy exploring the Beldorian Empire to listen to me in the first place for this week. ;D

And with that, I'll see you again for the next update!

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Episode II Release Date

Aaaand I ran out of quotes...honestly, I'm pretty sure I repeated a bunch of them too. xD
But more importantly, the public release date for LoQO: Origin - Episode II is still scheduled for April the 8th while the Patreon release date is April the 5th.
I've spent this extra time on adding a few more side-quests and polishing the current content to make sure the release will hopefully be without bugs, and not Mass Effect: Andromeda, hey-oooh!

Oh, but would you like to see some more animations be promoted?
Here is another voiced one with Osira and a very loyal and restrained minion, so click here if you want to see why monsters happily follows their Dark Empress around! (No paywall! Promises!)

And as we see each other again during the next update, episode II would be out!
