It's the season to be horny, lalalala lala la la!

I've been overclocking my schedule this past week and have gotten a lot of work done, most obviously if you're checking out Mhu'Tiki on the side here, she'll be a playable partymember as of the next beta, which I will be releasing this weekend. :D
Storywise she'll join and become an active partymember after the Castle Warrengard arc, after she's returned from escorting all the escaped prisoners to Arlon and you learn she is a as capable spellcaster as Ra'Tiki...but if you're already past that point, she can join back in like everyone else from the camp!

But that's only the beginning, I've finished adding the second half of "tent mechanic" and introduced a second character you can invite into the tent, besides Farah.
Oh, and I've also added a new storymode cutscene when arriving at Odidania and hope to have an additional one done before the next beta, which will also introduce a new character...one you have seen previewed here before, but one that has yet to be included in the game.

With that, I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas while my Patreons can look forward to the next beta at the end of the week, I'll see you all again next Tuesday! :3

Weekly Information Dump Day! Or...uhh, WIDD for short?

Anyhoo, the Lewd Box system is all done and implemented in the game, so starting in the next beta you'll get a Lewd Box for every Title you unlock and they can be sold for Krown if you don't feel like opening them and getting cosplay photos...win/win, right? :D
I've also updated the Art Gallery to take the new CG Style into account and took the opportunity to update the look a bit so the CG Gallery is more visually informative now that the names, such as Western/Eastern etc, has been removed.

The third main feature I had time to add was changing how the costume swapping menu function, although this one was spoiled to you a few days ago if you follow my Twitter! I think it both looks better and allows for more than 5 outfits per character to fit on the screen, not to mention it also gives you a larger view/sample of the currently worn outfit in the left-side frame.

And with that, I'll see you guys during the next Tuesday! :3

Another week, another update! :D
(Sorry for it coming in so late in the day!)

And boy, do I have some juicy details I've been dying to share with you guys!
Since I released the latest beta the other week, I've worked on something for the game I've been thinking about for some time now...a loot box system.
Now before you all grab your torches, pitchforks and come hunting me down, stay a while and listen! See, the mechanic itself isn't so bad when you take out the extreme corporate greed and money making scheme, but in fact, focus entirely on just making it a fun experience.

First thing first, there are no microtransactions and you can't buy them with real money.
That being said, these things are called "Lewd Boxes" in the game and rewards you with randomized cosplay photos that has previously only been Patreon exclusive, although the versions you get in-game won't be quite as large in pixel size.
You can't get dublicates and if the lewd box system tries to reward you a cosplay photo from a set you have already fully unlocked, you'll get an Emerald Gem instead. (Which in turn can be used to unlock CG Scenes you've already seen, but in alternative art styles instead of replaying the game)
You get a new Lewd Box per each individual "Title" you earn, which is rewarded for a lot of different things like defeating enemies, looking through houses etc, and you can also sell the Lewd Box for the ingame currency Krown as early players might be more interested to quickly earn a lot of coin instead of unlocking optional content.

Currently I'm not entirely sure how, but I'll try to come up with a solution to have the game count the titles you've already earned (for long time players) and reward you with all the Lewd Boxes you should have, possibly by a one-time use code for the mystical mirror in Colussia. :3

With that, I hope you like the sound of it and I'll see you next Tuesday!

Sorry for the slightly delayed Tuesday update!
However, this week I bring you Kythie's new battlepose to go along with the other ones, and include the "downed" version for her in the game.

Speaking of which, the next beta will be out tomorrow and include the International Version, a fully completed Odidania with new trading cards/illustrations, and of course, the new battleposes with downed variations for both Kythie and Ra'Tiki.

Not really a rich update in terms of sheer text volume, although with a surprisingly large amount I've gotten done since last week.

So with that, the Patreons can enjoy a new version tomorrow and everyone else, I'll see you next week! :D

That cold I catched sure was one persistent son of a strawberry nugget with vanilla flavor...wait, what was I talking about again?

Oh, right! Neena!
No more teasing around, here is the character people have been asking about ever since she went from being a skilled swordwoman and Lord Kross's sister to ending up becoming Eclipse the Horseman's "personal assistant" by the end of LoQOII.
She might not show up in episode III, but the pair will eventually be reintroduced to let returning players settle the score and put an end to that story thread.

In other news, International Edition is now implemented and my focus has turned to finishing off Odidania before next week when I plan to release the latest beta towards the end of the month, as I thought I'd only have time to finish one or the other.
However, for once I'm happy to be wrong as it seems like I might be able to do both! :D

And with that, you know the deal; I'll see you again next Tuesday!

Originally I was going to unveil a familiar face in this update for fans of the previous game who might know about a certain story arch that was left open by the end of LoQO II...
Unfortunately, I caught a cold last Wednesday and been sick ever since with it only starting to clear up now, so I didn't get around to finish coloring her introduction pose yet...

Instead, have some Queen of Harpies boobies with Paellicia's standard expression emoticon! Don't let her distract you during Thanksgiving and make you look at the turkey in the wrong way! No, seriously, don't! D;

And while sick, I still had it in me to do some work so I've been remaking the opening of the game with new graphics, shortened opening legal mumbo-jumbo and totally remade character select/CG Edition layout, which could be previewed over the weekend if you follow me on Twitter.
It'll allow for the "International Version" to finally be played in the next beta and also lays out the ground work for a stream friendly, "Clean Version" that'll censor visually mature content and remove all optional illustrations/trading cards, much like how it was in LoQOII.

Aaaand with that, let me end this Tuesday update by saying the figurine shop have gotten three new items in store, Gabrielle (regular/topless versions) along with a topless alternative of Farah. :)

So, I'll see you guys again next week!

Alright, time for one those two new characters I hinted about the other week! And first up is the next "Ultra" enemy to join the ranks of Roseus and Melanoir, with this one being the Queen of the Harpies, Paellicia!
I believe both her and Melanoir will be available and can be fought in the regions accessable within episode III.

And to remind everyone, my goal is to make LoQO: Origin IV episodes to conclude every story thread and pace them nicely together across the game.

As for actual game development, it's been a slow week and I've mostly been arranging/making assets and prepping the game for the inclusion of all the new trading cards and the International Version, which should be included (or very close to it) by the time we reach Tuesday next week!
I think that's about it for now, but be ready to see a familiar face next time!

See you guys at the next update like clockwork!

Sorry, the character unveils have to wait an extra week to make room for today's news!

If you've been following me on Twitter, you might've seen a little teaser about what might be mentioned today and marks the return of the poll (even if only temporarily).
This week I've been arranging for a couple of photoshoots to promote the LoQO figurines and give them proper reference photos for anyone looking them up, and during that, I made the acquaintance of a very lovely girl who was rather enthusiastic about the idea of letting you guys get a vote on if she should come back and cosplay as either Farah or Osira...
And that'll be your call!

Would she make for a better Osira, with a slightly dominant and wicked touch?
Or would she make for a better Farah with a more embracing, warm present?
Although be mindful...she might just be following the results herself. ;3

But maybe none of that interest you, you want to hear about the freaking game!
I've done a few more trading cards and think that'll be enough for now, so next I'll be focusing on either including the International Edition at long last before the end of November or tweak around enough to make Bal'Rana's Gallery fully functional.
While not all art for International Edition is done yet, I feel it now has enough scenes completed to be included in the next beta and have a decent amount of new illustrations to offer.

And with that, enjoy Farah/Osira below, make your vote count and I'll see you next week!

Quick notice first, Queen Opala is available for purchase in the WebShop and surprisingly enough ended up being the cheapest figurine so far...and the next one coming will be Gabrielle! :3

And with that, what is new since last week?
Well, I've spent the majority of this time making trading cards, adding more of them to teen Farah, Black Dame and Zweibelle while also finishing off the 10 set collection for Laquadia and Gabrielle.
I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before, but in case you missed it or didn't know, all the trading cards are sketched by Sparrow and colored by myself.
In the upcoming weeks I'll also be showing off another monster girl to "fight" and reintroduce a certain female character with an unresolved conclusion from the second game a lot of people have asked about. ;)

So, uhh..that's about that for today, I think! I'll see you guys again next week!

Another update, yo! Yo'all? Y'all...? Yoko Anal?
Anyway, this might be one of those slightly more boring ones as I've spent this week on behind-the-scenes work like adding more pages to the gallery and updating the Encyclopedia to include all the new monsters and locations introduced since the release of episode II.

And of course, Ra'Tiki is the next character finished and included with the new artstyle and have her "Distressed" pose variation done. (Not included here!)
Other than that, I've also dipped a bit more into the first "sidestory" that'll have you play as a female character from the game to cover a bit more lore and history behind them, while also ending it with a scene.
I think these optional stories can be breezed through in just 5-10 minutes if you skip everything, but might entertain you for 30-60 minutes if you take your time.

If I had a publisher, you can bet they'd force me to make these stories seperate DLC instead...oh, and make me include loot boxes with randomized panties and cock enchantments!

But with that, see you again next week! ;D

Guess what, chickenbutt...!

Unrelated, I got another finished figurine done recently, Queen Opala herself!
Although, as always, I'll have to order a prototype copy first to ensure everything is up to standards and there aren't any issues with the figurine, but I say so far it looks like she'll be a nice addition.
I'm also going to look into if the Farah figurine can get a nude alternative, but probably with the more expensive "non-hollowed" variation...so you don't have to puzzle her nipples together! x3

In other news, Odidania is now fully crowded with NPC's and I'm merely waiting for my muse to kick in so I can give all of them something to say! Just standing around and walking while looking dumb is one thing, but also saying anything that confirms it, is something entirely different!
I've also been arranging for a handful of more unlockable illustrations to be included in the game, because you can never have too many of those, right? ;D

So with that, I'll see you guys again next Tuesday as always!

The latest beta was released this past weekend as hoped and I got a new character to introduce, HYPE!!!

Okay, so not really a new character in the traditional sense since the cast is big enough as it is, buuuuut...
This is Melanoir, the second "Ultra" enemy like Roseus before her and I think this will be a running theme for Origin where all Ultra bosses who has a short lore attached to them will be all (or mostly) females and not entirely human.
For Melanoir, it's pretty self-explained by simply watching...anything below her boobs, as hard as that may be! She is a busty mermaid! :D

I know it might sound cliched, but I was thinking about adding a simple, fishing mini-game and it would be pretty amusing if Melanoir's introduction would be through that. x3
As for game development itself, besides rounding off everything for the past weekend release, I've been working on the next secret location...although I'll keep the name a secret until it's discovered by you gamers yourself instead, as it's a bit more of a spoiler than just mentioning Summer Cove or Immemorial Glade. x3

And with that, I'll see you next week! That's a Tuesday, too!

I gotta confess...it's been a really good week! :D

The auditions I've got so far for Masquerade/Laquadia has been really positive with a few candidates even surpassing the old one! So the deep concerns and worries I had about finding a suitable replacement for Masquerade seem to have been for naught. x3

On top of that, 60 more lines has been added to the game, this time with Beatrix, and I've updated Farah and Gabrielle's battleposes as well to include the new ones for all the outfits, including their "Embarrassed" variations which I've decided to name "Distressed" instead since it has a broader meaning.

I've also finished all the indoor locations for Odidania, so even if I don't have time to add all the NPC's before this weekend, you'll be able to explore the city and experience all of this on Saturday when I release the next beta!

That makes it a pretty good update this time, yeah? I got more stuff lined up to show you in the upcoming weeks so it'll be a while before I have to reverse back to the boring "Update" title. ;3
See you guys again next Tuesday!

Got some good news and I got some bad news, to keep the balance of the Force!

Bad news first, I need to remove 80 recorded lines from the game as I have to replace the voice of Laquadia/Masquerade due to the VA deciding she can't record anything more for my game and refuses to give clarification to if she meant temporarily or forever.
Since I can't just sit around and wait while hoping that may or may not change, I made the call to have her replaced and hope I'll be able to find a worthy voice to suit Masquerade's wacky nature.

Then we have the good news, I've added 90 recorded lines to the game! xD
As of the next beta, you'll finally be able to hear the voice of teen Farah and Gabrielle, in fact, I even got a sample of Farah's innocent voice for you right here! But batches of lines for both Osira and Beatrix has been sent out too so there is a very good chance they'll be done and included before that as well!

I've also continued my work on Odidania and finished off several more indoor maps.
Oh, and plans to add the first side-story (where you get to play as one of the female characters) is already underway with the CG Scene for it being made as we speak, although I'll try to pace out the time I spend on side-stories during development so they don't slow down the progress to the main story too much.

So with that, I'll see you again during the next update as always!

Sorry for the boring blog titles for the past weeks, including this one. D8
I might be able to temporarily change it up for the next update, as it's possible Gabrielle's new battlepose might be done by then...but no promises!

This week I've been working on adding double the amount of choices you can have when inviting Farah into your tent, along with new sound effects, voice clips and animations.
I've also doubled down and added a cutscene somewhere in the game (not time restricted) that'll give you the same opportunities with another, less enthusiastic female character, but who...? ;)

And once again I'll be ending a week on a high note with promoting some more animations.
Below is a screenshot preview of a voiced one with Osira and...something cropped out she is acting very eagerly to pounce over, and follow-ups are planned if we put the pressure on the artist!

Gah, these Tuesdays keep coming up! Like, almost once a week!

I'll confess I've at long last forced myself to slow down and chill for realsies this time by taking last week off, but with batteries recharged and the checklist of things to do seemingly infinite, I headed back into development as of yesterday and began with tangling with that beast called Odidania.
All outdoor maps for the city is done, but I still need to make the indoor maps and I'm aiming to have everything done before I release the next beta towards the end of this month. :3

And with that tiny update, I'll hopefully have more results to share as I see you next Tuesday!

This will likely be a short one for the road!
Another week has passed and I sadly don't have much results to show for it, that doesn't mean I haven't worked though, but I've spent all this time compiling sentances to be recorded.
It's surprisingly slow work, that's mostly because I have to write down a scene/emotion for each individual line to let the VA's know what they're voicing...otherwise, we'd just end up with Tidus laugh quality. *Wink* For example, Beatrix alone has ended up with over 60 voiced lines this week, and she doesn't have all that much screentime yet!

Also, all of teen Farah's outfits/embarrassed mode battleposes in the new style are done, so she is good to go! Althought I will likely not replace her old battleposes until all characters are done, so the different styles doesn't clash in your party. :3
And Laquadia's figurine is also finally up for purchase as well at the webshop!

So with that, I'll see you again next week!

Aaaand the "embarrassment" system has been finished and coded into the game...!
Since the new battleposes that'll take this new mechanic into consideration aren't done yet, I've implemented a temporary solution so people can still experience it when the next beta comes.
For now and until the new battlepose sets are finished, instead of having their clothes torned, the women will simply do a reversed Sailor Moon transformation and end up naked. XD
(Without all the fancy sparkles and animations though, they just up and nude)

I've also started sending out lines to be recorded to eventually begin the process of replacing a lot of current voiced lines with the new VA's and give previously unheard characters a voice.
Laquadia, Masquerade and Layla remains unchanged, even though Layla didn't had any voice clips added to the game yet.

So with that short update, it's back to work and I'll see you again next Tuesday!

So, yeeeah...

I didn't take a break last week like I said, and instead kept trucking on like normal. x3
But just confessing I might need to take a short break seem to have removed a lot of stress and allowed me to carry on like usual, still, if I start to feel burn out again I'll take some time off, for realsies this time!

This week I've been working on updating all indoor locations (again) to give a better feeling houses have rooms, by adding doors and/or additional archways.
I also changed door interractions so they require a button press, instead of simply walking into them, although only for doors you can actually see so leaving houses will remain like before.

I've also spent a lot of time experimenting on battles and decided I'm going to add a new feature based around destructable clothing, nothing too fancy, but if a female character's health gets too low or they are knocked out, their outfits will be torn and they'll get a negative "embarrassed" status that will only be removed if they change clothes or rest.
It's not too much of a handicap if you want to keep them in the "embarrassed" mode though, as the only negative impact it really has is making it impossible to avoid/dodge attacks.
And on that subject, all the battleposes are going to be remade by a different artist to take the destructable clothing into consideration, with teen Farah's default pose/outfit on preview here!

I think that's enough information for one update, yeees?
I'll see you guys again next Tuesday, and sorry if I had anyone worried with my last update!

This sure has been an eventful week!

Another beta was released to fix a few issues the previous one had.
The LoQO art contest I held at HentaiFoundry came to a close and the winners crowned.
The 300 audition lines for the various characters in the game is done, with a second phase casting call completed and 11 new VA's has been welcomed into the "family" to voice 15 characters.

In fact, I'm going to be totally honest and say I might've worked a little too hard, I feel a bit burned out and exhausted so I think it might do me good to slow down things for a couple of days.
But saying I'm going to take a break from game development completely for a week would likely be a lie since I know I wouldn't be able to keep me away that long... x3
I might focus on introducing the new voices to the game, it's one of those things that takes time but doesn't show any results until the clips are added to the game.
So I might compile a bunch of lines, then take a few days off while waiting for the lines to be recorded to come back a bit more refreshed! Sounds fair? :3

Either way, I'll be back with a new update as always next Tuesday!

Let's begin with a little figurine update, shall we?

As you can see below, the Laquadia figurine is finished and will be available to the public the moment I've review the prototype, which should be in a week or so!
Laquadia was estimated to be the most expensive one yet, but funnily enough, it seems like it might be the reverse, she'll be the cheapest one...despite those huge, divine blessings!
And on that note, Osira is also available for purchase in the webshop, right now! ;D

In other news, the latest beta was released over the weekend, but not as finished as I'd like.
It's a pride of mine to always keep my promised so I thought it was better to release what I had instead of delaying it, however, another beta will be coming very soon to fix a few issues I overlooked and add a new CG Scene.
This beta will be available to everyone who got the latest one, even if you don't renew your pledge for August, I simply think that's fair. :3

And with that short update, I'll see you guys again next week!

And today's update distraction is Kythie's standard emoticon, so I'll see you all again next week as always...!

Just kidding, of course. ;3
I'm been hard at work finishing the additional locations included in the next beta for it's release, and I did promise to mention a date in this update, so I can announce it'll be on Sunday! I know that's a bit of a last second for the month, but it'll give me as much time as I can have and the 30th is a bit special since it'll mark the end of the LoQO art contest at HentaiFoundry while doubling up as my birthday at the same time. :D
Although I'm still uncertain if I can get Odidania finished in time, it can be fully explored, but it wouldn't make for a great first impression if it doesn't have NPC's and the finer details added.
You can, however, expect to explore a new region, four new locations, a new boss and some storymode content in the next release! Oh, and of course, Kythie will join your party!

If you were hoping for information on the Osira figurine, I'll be picking up my prototype copy this week so I'll be announcing it for public release/sale during the next update, unless there is something wrong with it.

And with that, I'll see you guys again next week...for realsies, this time!

Alright, so the next figurine is finished and can be previewed below!

As a disclaimer, please don't try to fill her bowl with your own "liquid", it voids the warranty!
I still need to wait for the prototype copy to arrive at my place so I can judge the quality before approving and making it available for purchase to everyone else online. :)
Sadly, it's going to be a bit more expensive since it's not going to be "hollowed" and ship as one single, whole model, no additional parts you'd have to plug in like with Farah.
Laquadia is next in line, and she might be even more expensive due to the high concentration of details of her robes...it's not me getting greedy, it's just the way these things work, more "weight" means a higher price and Laquadia with Farah's tits, plus those robes, is meaty, yo!

Anyhoo, I've finished the last required cutscene I had to do before even considering releasing the beta, so with that out of the way, it's still on schedule for later this month with every additional day I can spare to be used to polish up and add content to the new explorable areas.
Since Odidania is a juggernaut to handle, I'll save it for last and hope I can finish it in time, but it might not make it into the next beta since each city has a huge amount of work tied to them.
The maps are done, but you still have to add light, transitions, NPC's, dialogues, looting spots etc.

So with that, I'll see you again next Tuesday with a confirmed beta release date!

Since episode II of LoQO: Origin has been out for a while now, I don't think it's no longer a huge spoiler to post this character here...although to be perfectly on the safe side, I won't go into the character details in case you reading this is one of the few ones who haven't reached that far into the game yet. ;)

So, during this week I've pretty much exclusively tinkered with the storymode content and worked towards unlocking the eastern region for exploration where all the new locations are added.
Yet, as always, I end up making more cutscenes than I originally intend as I don't want anything to feel rushed, and even have gone back and extented some past cutscenes that I felt didn't brought up everything they should or skipped information because it wasn't available the first time I made the cutscene, for example, Beatrix mentioning Elin when you first talk to her back in Colussia.
That one has been extended, along with the cutscene taking place in Castle Resteed between finishing the temple at Kahr and before going to the Iron Spire, and flesh out some side-stories.

However, I do have something pretty important to ask all of you, this week!

I've been thinking about this for a couple of weeks now, and would like to consider hiring some help for once to work on my game, more specifically, a writer to handle the CG Scenes for the game.
How important is it to you guys that I personally write these scenes? Or would it be enough if I directed the scenes how I want them, but had someone else write the actual descriptions?
I'm not sure if it would make game production any faster, but it would take a big load off my face!

Think about it, let me know, and I'll see you again next Tuesday!

Sorry if that attached photo burns your eyes, but my camera has gotten reeeeeally bad and I literally took over 15 photos...and THAT was the best one of the bunch. >.>

Anyway, as you might tell, the figurine I showed off and hinted about before has arrived at my place and I took that photo to give you an idea of how it looks and what size it is!
I would've preferred it to be kinda plastic like most figurines are, but colored sandstone is the next best thing and one of the cheapest options I could find with that quality, so I've set up a webshop so you can order a copy for yourself, if you want!
Out of the $130-ish you'll be paying for the model, I'm actually only earning around $5-6 on each sold copy...so don't go thinking it cost that much because I'm being greedy. xD
And to close that subject, the next figurine in production will be Osira!

In other news, I've been working on creating additional trading cards and adding more story to the game, so when the next beta hits (which should be later this month) you'll be able to get Kythie into your team and pay a visit to the Eastern region of the Beldorian Empire!

Also, while it has nothing to do with LoQO...be sure to catch SGDQ2017 this week! ;D
So with that short but sweet update, I'll see you guys again next week!

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Elin

Well, there isn't a lot more to be said...but here she is again! Beatrix's daughter Elin, in all of her glory!
While the LoQO girls certainly don't need an excuse to have huge tits, I felt like it would be really awkward and almost insulting if the one character who actually has cow-genes would end up NOT having a rack of epic proportions, and age issues are solved as well...it'll forever remain a mystery and a running joke. ;)

Meanwhile with the game production, I've continued on the seven new locations that'll be added for the next beta, whenever that might be released, hopefully next month, and I've also been working on the first new full CG Scene for episode 3 which knocks out another girl from the list of yet to be romanced until now. x3

I also feel like I need to explain some things.
I've tried to keep it a secret they've been doing construction/renovation work in my appartment complex again this month, so I've been getting very little sleep.
It hasn't really had an impact on my work yet since the things I've done this month has been more of creating maps than focusing on story and important events, but I still feel like I need to mention it since it HAS affected my ability to reply and my mood, which in turn has made me easier to agitate as the weeks have progressed.
Thankfully, they should be done before July the 1st, so this should be the last week.

Finally, next week I'll bring up the figurines again as the first trial print I ordered has arrived and I consider it good enough to be distribute. :D

So with that, I'll see you again next week with more sleep behind me!

Bal'Rana the Pirate Queen makes her glorious return as a recurring character in the series, but now more than a brief encounter or mere fanservice cameo!

She has set up shop along the southeast coast of the Beldorian Empire, where she basically wrecked her last ship, and tries to make a living while figuring out where to go next with her crew of pussywhipped sailors.
And while the high seas have been cruel to Bal'Rana's attempted, pillage voyages, she did come across a little something that is said to let the heart of men "relive lost opportunities".

Something she is taking full advantage of to get that booty filled with sparkling coin!

Meanwhile, I've spent more time than I'd like to admit to hunting down and squashing a a couple of persistent, evasive bugs...but successfully nonetheless! Such as the rare one that makes the cutscene arriving at Arlon for the first time in a playthrough not play and leave you with a black screen, this turned out to be caused by visited Arlon in the "future" and exploring a specific cave.
Anyhoo, I've also been working on a new location and added some additional dialogue to the cutscene that takes place when returning to Castle Warrengard before heading to the Iron Spire.
Oh, and I'm also processing the results of an audition I held to give all the female character voices, a casting call that ended up giving me over 300 voice clips to go through. xD

And with that, I'll see you next Tuesday!

Ta-daam!

I've been keeping you wondering for long enough, but it's finally time to reveal the young Elin, Beatrix's daughter!
It probably won't take you long to realize something about her doesn't seem quite...human? That's because she is technically half cow, as her dad is a Val'Toras who fought Beatrix over a decade ago and won, which accordingly with Skyhorn Maiden traditions and laws gave him the right to claim her body and resulted in a pregnancy.

Beatrix is very proud of her daughter who seem to be following in her mother's footsteps and aim to become a Skyhorn Maiden herself.

And with that presentation, you might be surprised to hear I've been working on Festival Island of all places since last week, as it'll be an optional location you can visit through the port in Odidania.
If you remember the place from LoQOII, you know it was on a downward spiral with the previous owner scamming the island and leaving it in disarray.
But since, Puta Banana came out of nowhere and turned Festival Island into a lively, tropical paradise and gave the whole island the makeover it sorely needed, which means it looks quite different while still keeping enough landmarks to make it feel new, yet familiar at the same time.

Although that is all for now, I'll see you again next week!

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Farah Figurine

Well, no point delaying it to the end of the update since you've already noticed by now! ;D

The "merchandise" I teased about last week, is that I've begun producing figurines of the LoQO characters, with Farah being the first one out of the block and aiming for completion with more aimed to be created before the end of the year, such as Osira, Opala, Laquadia etc!
Exactly what, how, when, why and WTF is a bit clouded in mystery, even for me, at the moment, but I believe this won't be an exclusive figurine and instead available to everyone who wants to purchase one, costing around $50-$70 I think.
I don't know for sure, that's details I'll learn once the first figurine has been completed.
If the price can be lowered at the cost of me not earning any percentage of the sales, then I'll do it!

Meanwhile on game production, the next location is on the way and reaching near completion, making the count of new areas to explore bump up to five whenever I can allow gamers to access the eastern area of the Beldorian Empire.

Sorry it wasn't a dakamaka, dakimaru...a pillow, but I'll see you next week nonetheless! ;3

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Update

Dang, time just flies by...! It's like a day only have 24 hours!

Feels like I've been working on Odidania for weeks, and it might just be because I've worked on the damn city for weeks! It's been updated several times and new maps have been added every couple of days, so while the basic city is now finally done (not counting indoor locations), I can say it ended up being much bigger than Kahr, but not quite dethroning Colussia yet. :3
Down below you can see an updated look for the main street of Odidania and compare the screenshot to how it looked last week, to see how it has evolved during this time!

I also recall this month is freaking over already, and I promised by Patreons a new beta I kinda forgot while my head was stuck in city development...but I'll still make good on my word and release a new one tomorrow, although it will hardly have anything new besides that "repeatable" sequence with teen Farah I mentioned before, how it takes choice, pixel sprite animations, voice, sound effects and mix it all together.

And in other news, next week I will likely have something rather interesting to show off.
It's game related, but at the same time, not...call it a merchandise...you can physically touch. ;)

Until then, see you next Tuesday!

Another week, another Tuesday and another update! :D

It looks like all the cogs fitted in place and my vision for Odidania went through without a hitch, my original idea to have it be a city based on a mountain cliff surrounded by waterfalls worked and I'm still adding more areas to it as we speak! So far Odidania has four maps which makes it just one map smaller than Kahr, but I expect it to end up being nearly the same size as Colussia.
On Twitter I released a screenshot of an "outlook" at Odidania's western edge overlooking the region, and below you can see an early draft of how one of the city maps look like.

I'll see you guys again next week!

Things are coming along smoothly, that is always nice. :3
The VA casting audition is right on track and the most successfull one I've had since I began making games, as so far there has been nearly as many entries as there are female characters in LoQO:O!

As for the game production itself, I'm currently working on the fourth new location for episode III, although it has slowed down a bit since I need to make a custom tileset and create some new resources for the city of Odidania which was briefly mentioned during the High Lord Gathering.
It's also the next available town you visit after Kahr.

While it's way too early to state any specifics as I have a few different ideas on how I should make Odidania, I hope it will have this waterfall, exotic cliffside city theme going on.
Or if that turns out to be too ambitious, I always have the castle city idea to fall back on, like how Castle Resteed was made back in LoQOII. x3

And with that, see you in the next update!

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Update

This has been a full week for sure, with plenty of things going on!

For one, I'm currently holding a casting audition lasting until next month to give pretty much all of the female characters voices, and it's going very good so far with a lot of really promising talents!
This has been a constant problem in the past with several VA's just up and vanishing, leaving me no other choise but to re-cast them...but that is also one of the gambles with adding voices early on in a project when several years still remain, you have no guarentees.

Meanwhile, another location for episode III is almost done!
And teen Farah is finished for repeatable "romance" moments in the tent, eh eeeeh!?
With the "Demo Fap Reel's" I've had arranged, it's possible I might focus on Laquadia next, Masquerade, Naz'Raala, or perhaps even Osira!
Although it will most likely end up being Laquadia or Naz'Raala, the repeatable romances makes more sense if they are done after having a CG Scene moment with them.
Like, say the CG Scene between the protagonist and a woman is their "introduction" and following scenes, may it be CG or pixel sprite animation, are simply follow-ups to them. :3

And let's end this week on a high note with promoting some more animations!
Below is a screenshot preview of a voiced one with Osira and a minion, so click here if you want to support the artist, although be warned it may be behind a paywall since adult content on Patreon isn't allowed to be displayed unrestricted.

See you again next Tuesday!

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Bal'Rana

Ta-daaam, there be booty on the horizon!
Bal'Rana the Pirate Captain who've been around since the first LoQO game has now returned with an updated look, but still surrounded by terrible and stupid crewmen!
Not shown in the preview are her two guardian Saberwolves, Skulls and Bones.
I don't want to spoil learning more about her in-game, but let's just say things looked a little brighter between the events of LoQOII and LoQO:O before she met her match and crashed her second...or is it third? Anyway, crashed her newest ship on the coast of the Beldorian Empire where she set up shop. (The Boss Gem Shop!)

The location she appears in has been completed since last update as well, and I'm currently working on something I believe everyone will enjoy quite a lot...think the voiced only "scenes" in the first LoQO game, but now with sound effects and sprite animations to go along with it for some repeatable action. ;)
It's a lot of work fine tuning those sound effects so they are played in just the right frame and volume, but I think you may be able to experience at least teen Farah in this new feature being added to the next beta hitting my Patreon later this month.

And with d'aaargh, I'll see you next Tuesday!

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Update

Thanks for all the support you guys gave me after the previous update, I appreciate it! :D

So, since last week I've been patching up a few minor issues in the game, added a little hard-to-miss secret, but spent most of the time with working on the gallery unlock mechanic I've been mentioning in the past and which the "Boss Gem" will be used for.
A preview of how it'll look is added below, but remember it's a work in progress and not final, so it may change in some ways with how it looks and what'll cost x amounts of Boss Gems.

Now, let me take a moment to explain how it'll all work!
Considering how some scenes have different outcomes and all variations might not be possible to unlock in a single playthrough, then add all the different CG styles you can choose, that would make for a LOT of playthroughs if you wish to unlock everything the game has to offer.
However, with this gallery mechanic, every scene you have come across in any version will become available for purchase in all the styles, Boss Gems will also be renamed and become more easier to obtain so you can get more of them in a single playthrough.
This way, it'll be up to you as a player if you want to play through the game multiple times because you enjoy the experience, or you can speed up you process by saving up Boss Gems and unlock already seen sequences in the gallery!

And no, Boss Gem's will not be available seperately as microtransactions... ;)

So yeah, see you guys again next week as always!

It's kinda sad when I have to bring something like this up.
Usually I can shrug off negative feedback and false statements since I don't have to prove anything, my work does it for me, but it's when it gets under my skin and I start to doubt myself that things get a bit more complicated.
I'm referring to the accusations that I've become slower since I started up my Patreon, and hearing whispers for months have made me wondering if there was actually any truth to that...and in a twist that should surprise no one, there isn't!

So, let's deal with the subject like adults and bring out the facts, shall we? ;)

Seeing this list of my past work...where exactly do people find I've gotten slower?
This surely won't end the discussion, but seeing this for myself is enough for me to not feel bad about it anymore and allows me to ignore people talking behind my back about it with good conscious.

And with that, the topic has been dropped and won't never need to be brought up again.
So in other news, I'm sure you might've noticed the new layout of the blog! I'm also getting back to working on episode III now after my short "vacation" and is currently laying out the remaining worldmap for the Beldorian Empire. :3

So with that, I'll see you again next week!
