It seems the closer we get to the release date of LoQO: Origin - Episode II, the more rushed and empty these weekly updates might feel as I'm focusing all my attention to finishing and polishing as much as I can within the game...sorry about that! x3

Since last tuesday, I've finished off the storymode for episode II and given it a far more "definite" conclusion to that specific part than what episode I did with it, but at the same time, leaving it on a cliffhanger of sorts and introducing a character not even revealed in these weekly updates yet!

I've also finished adding all 34 properties you can buy once acquiring Castle Warrengard, which opens up trading routes and gives you access to more material, which in turn is needed to make your castle grow, upgrade, add sections and hire workers.
I've also been adding in additional story and cutscenes that doesn't exactly follow the main path, but fills in a few gaps and gives the players who like to explore a few more things to experience.
I mean, Osira deserves a little more screen time, right...? *Wink*

Everything is coming along nicely, and with that, I'll see you again next tuesday!

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Update

Things are coming along smoothly, I'm in fact currently working on the ending part of the very last cutscene in LoQO: Episode II and it's emotionally draining...for various reasons, with so much going on there and being very heavy on the special effects too! I believe it'll make for a very good ending and mark a new beginning for the following episodes to come after it. :D

But it needs to be mentioned again, even if I finish off the storymode tomorrow, I'll still need the extra time spanning over the first half of March to polish up on everything, finish additional content and allow the CG artists to complete their remaining work!

Sorry for the short update, but only been focusing on story since last tuesday. x3
And with that, I'll see you again the same day as always, next week!

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Valentine's Day

Things have only been good this past week!
Since last update I've finished the Kahr arc of the game that contains a lot of lore and story progress to explain a few things teased in the past and flesh out where everything is going...
Perhaps with an surprise or two, which also means only one major event is left before the storyline in episode 2 is completeted, and today I even finished the last full scene as well, so only a mini-scene is remaining on that front!

If things continue this well, I suspect eveything story and CG scene related will be finished within the next two weeks, which gives me time to add additional gameplay mechanics, sidequests, monsters etc. before the release of LoQO: Origin - Episode II in March. :D

And since it's Valentine's Day, what better way to celebrate than have Farah and her daughter Osira patch things up with some make-up sex, along with a pair of godhood minions?
It's animated and voiced, so click here if you want to enlighten your day!

See you again next Tuesday!

And here comes the emoticon for Puta Bananas with her standard expression, the mascot/owner of Festival Island!

While on the subject...
I think it's about time I reveal what the special announcement is I've been teasing for two weeks now and it's very much related to all of these emoticons you've seen, in fact, the artist who has done them will be joining the production as a full CG artist and will do the "International Edition" where you get to see all adult scenes in the same artstyle as the emoticons, no matter if you decide to play as a human or one of the available beastmen
Of course, this is far too close to the release date of LoQO: Origin - Episode II so for people without beta access, you'll have to settle with the Beastman Mode which will be new to you and then get this artist as a new addition with Episode III in the future. :)

Meanwhile, game production is going smoothly with me currently working on the two last CG scenes for the episode and nearly done making the second-to-last story scenario in the game!

And with that, I'll see you again in the next Tuesday update!
