No Nut November (NNN) is almost over, the curse also known as Farah Fasting Fall (FFF).

Either way, a ton of work has been done over the week!
Trying to avoid spoilers makes it difficult to lay out the details, but multiple locations have been implemented and linked together in the region of the map that's available after obtaining the ship.
I should have about what I need to progress the story further without any additional content so I can hopefully get some more cutscenes done before the next beta arrives in December.
And I think the game is about to hit the milestone of having 900 individual maps, too!

With that, it's back to work for me and I'll report in next Tuesday!

One of the main new locations to proceed the story is almost there!
While I still want to keep it vague to avoid spoilers, I can at least say it's a transitional area between regions and currently have all the basics maps and changes to the overworld done.
So further details are needed, then of course there are enemy placements, loot, etc. along with any optional areas, but hopefully all additional assets I needed to create should be finished.

Alright, so what's been on the table for this week?

Currently hard at work getting the next storymode locations done since I need a couple of more finished before I even have the content available to place the next cutscene, which required me to create additional assets to get the tone and setting I want to present.
But I also feel like I'll need to be more vague from now on when presenting main plot related stuff, as just walking you through the story beats and letting you know what's coming next are spoilers.
This will likely mean some updates are going to be shorter, such as this one!

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Week 44 / 2025

I got nothing...nothing but good news, that is!

The workload for this week has been exclusively storymode content.
I've written enough dialogues and cutscenes that you are now aboard the Magna Gerulus with access to the massive, wide open ocean.
Although, it's important to mention those cutscenes are still very much in draft form and need a lot of additional work before they're considered done, such as NPC movements, emoticons, etc.
I'll probably edit a lot of the dialogue and change some things as I always do until I feel satisfied, but the base is there and completed, just waiting for the polish!
