Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Update

Getting the Tuesday update done, aww'yeah!

Support me and production of the LoQO games at - Patreon

So this past week I've done nothing but adding content and polishing things for the upcoming release, and that means more side-quests and the late, but in time, inclusion of treasure maps!
It works a little bit differently this time, yet still familiar enough to fans of LoQOII.

As stated before, the release of Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Episode I will be on the 31st of August, this means that next week's Tuesday update will instead be moved to Monday, to officially announce the release and include one or two download links.

That also means the last beta should be out in the next couple of days, Friday at latest. :D

So I'll see you again next week, for the launch of LoQO: Origin!

    1. There are a lot of good games coming out now, my game is just a drop in the bucket. ;3

    2. For most of us it might well be the drop that makes out bucket spill over so to speak.

    4. O without a doubt, if i remember correctly it wasn't even a Die Hard movie at first they just slapped the name on it for its reputation. And an D; to you to, i know it's a typo but try to do a winky/shocked face, its funny. :)

  5. I would like to see if the whole An'terra problem get's resolved.

Not to be a critic but I just like when the story get's all wrapped up at the end. I don't like worrying about the poor innocent NPCs between games.

    1. It'll hardly be solved in the first episode, no game/movie/book have all issues resolved in the first part. x3

  6. Oh man, can't wait. Can't decide which version to play first.

  13. Man idk if I wanna be a bestman or not first. Beastman mode I cool but then I need to decide which type to be. Will beastman change the begging of the game ir just dialogue?

    1. It doesn't change the story or available content, only graphics and dialogue.

    2. thanks really looking forward to it these games have been great now i just need to choose who to be. man wish i could be all of them at once but i dont have the skill or the right amount of computers.

    3. It only makes multiple playthroughs all the sweeter!

    4. Well it depends on which artist you like more. I think I'm definitely going to play Beastman Mode first because it's Studio-Pirate's art on it, but for the second time around I'll go with Western Mode for that Sparrow overexaggeration (anyone who's seen his art knows what I mean). :P

And last but not least I'll play the Eastern Mode because in LoQO II that was my least favorite of the two, although I remember hearing that the artist is different this time around?

      Delete
    5. Yup, Eastern Edition has a different artist this time around. :)

      Delete
    6. Too true. Different art is always bice. Plus being evil or good. And I did 2 runs on LoQO and like 5 on LOQO2 lol

  14. Is there a active forum/wiki where i can look up or ask about things in the game?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. There is the LOQO wiki.
      http://loqo.wikispaces.com/

      Delete
    2. Ya, your best bet is the wiki especially if you're interested in the earlier games as for origins again here or the wiki is your best bet but if you're feeling adventurous type into google: legend of queen opala origins forum.

    3. Google only gave me Loqo2 threads which was why i posted here :p

  16. MONDAY! Is it done yet, is it done yet, is it done yet?

Seriously though, thanks for all your work Gabe, super hyped for tonight :D

Damn... to beast or not to beast.
I'd love to play a horseman but i also love Sparrow.

Will the beastman art be more focused on large insertions/bulges than Sparrow's human artwork? (but it seems impossible that Sparrows art would be LESS focused on that :D)
Also, will there be the same amount of art/scenes for each mode?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Each mode has the exact same scenes, just drawn by different artists. :3

And its only Monday on the eastern side of the planet right now, splitting around France. xD
