Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Black Dame

Week after week, it's the Tuesday update!

Support me and production of the LoQO games at - Patreon

This isn't a new character per say, since she is in LoQO: Origin - Episode I and has been in it since some of the earliest betas.
But she did had a default, place-holder graphic since I wasn't too sure where to go with the character, but now I've decided and her design has been finalized.

As I mentioned in an earlier blog update, she'll be making an appearance very soon in the story, which could be your first introduction to her or not, depending on if you completed the first available sidequest called "Introduction".
Spoiler - She can give you the Lockpick Set.

In terms of game development, I've spent most of this week working on the port of Whitehaven and making more trading cards.

I've finished nearly seven of them since last week, three being with the helmet wearing Naz'Raala and four with Kristallia the Crystal Fairy!

Aaaand...that's about that! I'll see you as always, next Tuesday! :D

  1. Nice a sexy dark elf, hope to see more sexy dark elves, I wonder she is more than a broker LOL

    1. Maybe you can "make" her broker, hurr hurr hurr.

    2. True.... But that will make the Broker "broke" then she would cry and ask for her money, then what should I do then ? LOL

    3. Stuff her with information! >:3

  2. Plot twist: She's Midna!

Actually a bit more of a serious question, since Origins is sort being crowdfund (or at least being dependent on fans supporting) and I'm guessing any future project will be similarly fund. With this in mind my question is, do you think you will add any personal fetishes or kinks that you really love but some fans may not, or would you leave the game more broad and open and not risk alienating potential players?

    1. I try to balance somewhere in-between, it's a very tricky question to answer...clearly LoQO:O has more fanservice than my previous games since there are a lot of focus on the protagonist getting to score, while I personally enjoy writing monster sex scenes because they are far easier to make. x3

    2. Well there's always plenty of room for monster sex. :-P
Kristallia vs Nabonaga. The biggest cock in the LOQO universe meets the smallest ass. ;-)

Well apart for the fact that I prefer monsters sex too, that just coincidence to my point, I want to experience the creators fetishes and maybe find something new or get a better view of a fetish I may have had a poorer view on.

After all the only reason I even played LOQO was that I was looking for hentai of Rangiku from Bleach, saw your pic of her and a horse and from that moment I was hooked on horsecock, saw the pic you drew of Opala with a horsecock and then it was "Oh look, the artist made a game of Opala" and the rest is history.

    3. And I suppose in a similar point, LOQO has ideas and fetishes that I personally don't like but it's all a part of experiencing the game.

    4. Oh, I won't be holding back...I'll just be sneaky about it. x3

    5. So more "Game over" defeat scenes? ;-)

    6. Oh I loved the horse game over scene in LoQO II.

    7. LOQOO is my personal favorite, since the protag gets to do most of the scoring. It has all the LOQO gameplay and cool features I love, with more protag having sex with lots of chicks that I also love! WIn/win/win/win WHich is why i donated during the first beta...I would be a patron if paypal wasnt all moral police

    1. Hey, don't be rascist! Would be very uncomfortable to have the cloak bend your ears and all that. x3

    2. You know those sleeveless jackets/robe, i just see her putting one over her head and the ears are wher the hands are supposed to be. XD

      They could tell right away
That I was a meanie to the bone :P

    4. Better be a meanie to the bone than having a mean boner. x3

    5. Mean boner, well i've had one of those when i was about 16 or 17 and i took viagra just to see what happens and what happened was a boner that i codent even bend to the side i was all like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ox0Ehq-FRQ

  4. Oh, Black Dame is literally a black dame lol. She kinda reminds me of someone from the Jak and Daxter series aka childhood games hall of fame. How central to the story are u thinking of making her?

    ReplyDelete

    1. She was black before this design too. x3
And she'll be pretty central to the story, although not a character to stick around for longer periods of time.

    2. Yeah I imagine she wouldn't function well on a big adventure. I only just realized that she has only half a dress. Not only is she on the run from the empire, she has to be on the lookout for anything that her cloak can get caught on or else it's rack city.

    3. Wardrobe malfunction is a wonderful thing.

  5. now i want her to my haren in the game XD

  6. Oooh yeah I remember her. That lockpick was very helpful. Well I guess it's time to thank her and pick HER lock! :D

  8. there is a dirty keyhole joke in here somewhere I am just to tired to make one. "I wonder what kind of key she would like to fit in her holes or maybe you just need a really good 'lockpicker'..." yeah that was weak I'll think of something better

  10. So I fell behind on news and have only recently seen that Offbeatr has been shut down.

Having donated to it, how do I get my 'monies worth' as it is? ^^

    1. I've mentioned in previous blogs on how to do it, but taking a screenshot of your Offbeatr pledge on their website is kinda impossible now though...but if you still have a receipt, you should be good! ^^

  12. Hey Gape got an idea. Would it be possible to reviev the CG Scenes with the dialog aswell? Since in loqo 2 the centaur scene with opala was my favorite and partly cause of the good dialog you wrote aswell. Was kinda lame to have to replay the game to get to that scene so i wanted to ask if that could maybe an option aswell in the future

    1. You could unlock the feature to watch CG Scenes with dialogue in LoQOII, and it will be back in LoQO:O eventually too! :)

  13. Hey Gabe, how are the scenes shaping up? We get plenty of info about the trading cards but to be honest I gave up on them because they're mostly Sparrow-physics ridiculousness and don't involve the protagonist in any way.
Just how long until Devon is able to fug female party members other than young Farah and will it be locked to story progress (which I assume we're roughly 30% done with)? I mean, the most recent scene additions we got were a mini-scenes sans Devon all - Masquerade and Farah (both Farahs actually).

As for the not-new character, very nice design as usual. The tits have a pretty stable gravitational field, which is not something I'd like to see less of, a bit odd choice for the hair color but it makes the character more original - I'm all in for brown elves (Illona in LoQOII comes to mind), and never saw one that's also a redhead as well.

    1. Devon already got to pork Laquadia and Illumi though! And he'll shortly be able to score two more women as well in the game, one directly related to the story and another needing to be discovered.
All in all, I have currently four scenes being worked on at the moment in various stages of completion. :)

As for Black Dame's hair color, white is simply too common for dark elves and something purple-ish didn't felt all that original...so she ended up looking like Midna or Ganondorf instead, but I kept it like that because I didn't intentionally thought of those characters when I went for those colors. x3

  14. Hey Gabe I saw you comment on sparrow's ra'tiki picture describing the beldorian empire as steampunk + fantasy (which is obvious with Collussia). But thinking about it more, would it be possible to add more technology in loqo now? Like maybe a train, steam boats, or maybe even a really, REALLY old version of a car? There's probably other things. Or would those things kind of break your vision of the world for Loqo too much?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Train, steam boats or even a steam tank would be quite possible...but a car seem less likely, for some reason, maybe because it wouldn't be very practical. x3

  15. Hey Gabe, I haven't had a chance to see this question asked, although it probably was. Still, I will ask it again, cos I need to know, so I do apologize if it annoys you.

Will we be able to turn off the voice acting starting the second episode?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If you're asking about turning off the voice acting in general then you could do that in the past games and this one to, in game pres F1 a game properties windows will appear in which you can turn on or off the voice acting.

      Delete
    2. Yeah, but that also means turning off the fighting and magic spell sounds, which is a bummer, since I put some awesome electronic music when I'm playing lol

  16. Hey Gabe, glad you finally decided on a permanent look for the Black Dame and removed her old placeholder sprite, battle pose and emoticon.

Of course now I can't help but wonder if she is possibly a member of the Neverus tribe that managed to survive the battle at Sanctus, and continue to live her life above ground.
