Now I can take a deep breath of relief as I literally just released beta v1.06 to my Patreons, yay!
With that out of the way, I can finally...erm...well, get back to work like normal, really.
So it goes without saying that I spent entire last week more or less prepping and polishing the game for this release, and yes, I worked on Sunday. ;)

But in the meantime, some of the original music being composed for the game also made some progress so here is a sample of what you can expect, just click on the name to download it -
Port Ronod/Whitehaven Theme

The people behind the music are CylightStudios and if you'd like to support them or commission some songs for your own projects, they can be reached right here.

I'll see you again next week!

    1. Do you have a Debit card? Cause that will do it. It's not as safe as a credit card or paypal cause it links directly to your bank account but it's safe enough for transactions that are trustworthy and after nearly a year of doing it myself I have had no issues with Gabe or Patreon. If you don't have a credit card or Debit card though there isn't much you can do sadly but you could check with your bank to find out if your account could be linked with a debit card. :)

    3. I will probably wait until the majority of songs are finished first before I start adding them to the game, otherwise the mix of these and...midi files might be a bit edgy. XD

    4. Makes sense but when you do it's gonna be awesome!

  3. While I'm gonna miss the original songs, this sounds very good. It still has that nostalgic/ longing feel to it. Don't know why but I always get that when playing your games. I especially can't wait to hear the world map theme.

    1. And here I thought the battle theme would be far more important than the world map. ;)

There goes my sleep for this night. (._. )

Thank you Gabe, time to delve into beast man mode again and take an indefinite hiatus from reality.

    I salute you. (°-°)\

  5. Just out of curiousity, is there any sort of controller support for RPG Maker games? I'd love to be able to use my controller for LOQO instead of the keyboard.

    1. yes, yes there is. press f1 while game is open. make sure to have your controller plugged in as well, before you start the game

    2. Should be yes. You can assign the buttons in the options by pressing F1 I believe. I can remember playing LoQO and LoQO2 with my PS3 controller so it shouldn't be much different for LoQOO I should think.

    3. Yap, i tried it out with an xbox 360 controller and it worked, pres F1 then gamepad to change your button layout, and as far as i can tell button 1 is the confirm/accept button so if you want that to be A on a 360 controller you have to put "button 1: C" in the F1 window.

    4. Cool! Then it's confirmed controllers worked! I've had this question before, but could never tell them an answer myself since I didn't know. x3

  6. WOW! This is amazing! It even feels like it should be Port Ronod! Props to Cylight Studios. And for some reason, I almost get a skyrim vibe, maybe cause of your choice of words for the update lol. Very fantasy, I can picture it in a lot of different games!

    1. Hehe, well I am very picky with a lot of things...so I wouldn't approve of music I don't like either. x3

    1. Actually, looking it up now, the regular battle theme for the very first LoQO game was a default RPG Maker XP track.

    3. Fair enough, Gabe. I'm glad people like me won't be left out of the adventure though! :)

@Omegalock I am very sick and can't work, and I don't have another source of income since my dad passed away in December. I only get a set amount and I spend it all on rent and food and electricity (my apartment had water and gas covered). I mainly play games on PC because I don't have any money to spend on other games. Sorry for the blog story <:) I just can't afford it.
