Aaaand the "embarrassment" system has been finished and coded into the game...!
Since the new battleposes that'll take this new mechanic into consideration aren't done yet, I've implemented a temporary solution so people can still experience it when the next beta comes.
For now and until the new battlepose sets are finished, instead of having their clothes torned, the women will simply do a reversed Sailor Moon transformation and end up naked. XD
(Without all the fancy sparkles and animations though, they just up and nude)

I've also started sending out lines to be recorded to eventually begin the process of replacing a lot of current voiced lines with the new VA's and give previously unheard characters a voice.
Laquadia, Masquerade and Layla remains unchanged, even though Layla didn't had any voice clips added to the game yet.

So with that short update, it's back to work and I'll see you again next Tuesday!

  1. Aww man, I have no funny comment this week.

So on default, I'm just going to say "Love you Gabe".

    1. Aw, now I'm feeling like a bad boy because I don't love SweGabe, I just love her work...

      Does that make me a bad person? ( ; ~ ; )

I think, it just means that you're honest with yourself...
Or maybe it's because Gabey is hiding from us, which makes it a little bit more difficult to feel anything towards her. :-(

And still, you can start to like her in the future.

    3. Hey, I never said I do not like her, just that I do not love her. SweGabe has displayed a lot of behaviour I really appreciate, like answering all my questions, cracking jokes along the way and in general being one of the most pleasent people to deal with on the internet.

But "love" is just a word that's way too strong for describing that. That may be cultural differences though, after all, we LoQO fans are quite an international bunch. Heck, I read about cultures were "I love you" is such an over-the-top expression of emotions it's pretty much restricted to use in fiction, like soap operas.

    4. Well I want to be loved for what I do, not what I am. ;)

    5. Awww... (o^-^o)

But that's on the net. I hope there are people in your life that love you for who you are as well. (^-^)d

I see. Then I beg your pardon.

      @Gabe
      Why not both? ;-)

    7. Well I'm not pretending to know Gabe or anything when I saw "I love Gabe" but it's more that fact that;
1, I love sharing my love.
2, Gabe is a person and every person should get a little random love every now and again.
3, We don't know Gabe but we know that Gabe is at least pretty cool, otherwise why would there even be a fanbase.

So yeah if we can't love Gabe, we at least love the spirit of Gabe.

      Delete
    8. But wait Gabe, we love you for what you do. But what you do is make sex games. You talk to us all the time and make awesome jokes. So that makes you a cool person. So if we love you for being cool with us and making sex games, then doesn't that mean we love that you are a cool, perverted game developer???

      Delete
    9. Not trying to say we know you completely. So make that a mysterious, cool, perverted game developer?

      Delete
    10. @Omegalock
Gabe isn't perverted. None of us is. We're just free to express our sexual thoughts and feelings. ;-)

      Delete
    11. Right of course, how foolish of me.

So mysterious, cool, sexually free game developer?

      Delete
    12. @Omegalock
      That sounds alright. :-D

    13. @Neferis
I tend to think that if you have ever had a bizarre sexual thought in your life then you are at least a little bit perverted. However if you would like a "kinder" definition for what we all are then how does "sexual fetishist" sound.

  2. Welp, if it wasn't official before it is now. I can no longer play the game unless my back is to the wall. I could blame the big tits on the battle poses on the over sexualization of women in video games and say I'm just playing for the story and the gameplay. But if my parents come in when it happens to be the enemy turn and Farah and Gabrielle spontaneously become naked.........oh well, the new system is worth it!

    1. LOQO I and II, you could play pretty much in public, with just how much of it was normal RPG fun.

I like that LOQO is now more it's own thing rather than just an RPG with Opala. That said the first two where perfect timing for me because so many RPG Maker porn games weren't very good RPGs. So LOQO has a very transition, you start with a good RPG and you get drawn into the world and lore.

    2. I'm not trying to be a jerk but: Don't you parents knock before entering?

But maybe you could take a risk and simply show the game to them? Who knows, they might dig it. (ツ)

      Delete
    3. Yeah, show them that sexy characters (both males and females) exist only for the Greater Good! ;-)

    4. @jaht, reminds me of a comment I saw once way back when LOQO I Gold was new, one guy had his laptop taken by his teacher for the day, and at the end of the day the teacher had played LOQO and told the guy "There's a secret 3rd option for dealing with Osira *wink*".

    5. The embarrassment mechanic will be disabled when playing on "Clean Mode" though...whenever I get around to add that. xD

    6. I don't play games I my room. The living room has been combined into my game room. And if it's Loqo then I just play it on the couch with me facing the entry ways so I can see who's coming in. there is no door to knock.

    7. @Cian Browne: Well, most adults do have a sex drive after all and you never know what shape it may take.

On the other hand of the spectrum, I once talked to a guy who (young and hormone-driven as he was) managed to find his father's porn folder and was rather er.... "surprised" his father was into way more out there stuff then he ever expected.

Heck, my own father seems to be into BDSM.

And LoQO needs all the love it can get!
Go on people! Tell somebody your trust about the game! Like your parents! A teacher! Or a policemen!
Wait scratch the last one, in rectrospect that's no good.

@Omegalock: Okay that's kind of sad for you... (._. )
How can you ever enjoy the game the way SweGabe intended to? I hope you have a chance to move to your own flat one day so you can do what comes naturaly with this kinda game.

      Delete
    8. Well it's not like I'm surrounded by parents 24/7 I can do what comes naturally if I so wanted. But when I play a game I want to play the game. The sexy stuff that comes with it is very enjoyable but It's kind of like going to a strip club. You usually don't do what comes naturally at a strip club right?

  3. So the whole royal family gets new voices?
Well it'll be beyond uncalled for to throw a fit about it, so I just hope the new ones match the general personalities again.

Speaking of which: I didn't expect Layla to be voiced at all, since she's a fairly minor character (so far?) any hints in which direction her voice will go? Deep and milf-y or rather restrained and galant, considering her occupation?

Hm, so you'll spoil the naked battlepose sprites that we'd normaly have to unlock through unlockng costumes? I'll hope you don't feed your kids too much candy before going to bed with this. (ツ)

    1. All females are going to be voiced, even Roseus!
But as for the egyptian trio getting new voices, I believe some are even better than before, like the new one for adult Farah even having this sultry middle-eastern accent...think Ana, from Overwatch. ;)

As for those naked battleposes...it doesn't really matter now since they're going to be replaced anyway when the new set is done. xD

      Delete
    2. Oh my gosh, accented Farah, how exciting! ♥♥♥
Kinda weird if her daughters don't share that accent but who cares?
I never played Overwatch but I just checked some of her quotes on YT and gee, how arousing. (ツ)
If you into military talk, I guess... (._. )
But heck, I'm looking forward to teasing and dirty talk with that kinda accent.

Oh, one thing: Osira's old voice actress still has her voice in the finished game since she voiced the opening disclaimer, right? Or do you think about ever changing it?

  4. Well, I'm looking forward to hearing Black Dame's voice. Dark elf, you know. Must be something special.

Seen Farah x Pharah crossover video by Noname55 and been wondering why it took it so long. You know, sometimes I think that a designer of Pharah is just a big fan of your series.

Have you seen Likkezg and Tiaz's animations with 2B? Magnificent videos. Maybe they could give you an idea or two. :-)

By the way, how much does it cost to create a digital 3D model of a character? I still hope to see new animations with other females from LoQO (except for Farah, Opala or Osira). ;-)

    1. Not to sound mean, but what's so great about 2B that you want her LOQO?
It's just kinda random, like asking Gabe to have a city with My Little Ponies in it.

Apart from one cameo by Rangiku Matsumoto (which considering that Gabe drew a ton of Rangiku stuff kinda less a Bleach crossover and more a nod to the fans of past work) and Latex being an outside OC , the world of LOQO has avoided pop culture cross-overs, which is good since it makes the game more timeless.

      Delete
    2. What's so great about 2B? 2B is a sexy, beautiful, badass android! She's like the new Android 18! But I do agree that we can't really put 2B in a Loqo game. Doesn't make sense. But if a sexy android/golem/automaton type character was added then it would be awesome!

Also, where exactly is the Rangiku cameo? I may have missed that.

      Delete
    3. @Cian Browne
Maybe because of her appearance? Or maybe because she looks so shy outside which can be quite the opposite of her character. And I must admit, both Likkezg and Tiaz did manage to show this opposite. That's the main reason I mentioned them.
I didn't really ponder why I like her. After all, 2B seems to be a popular character with neat design.

Nah, I wasn't talking about implementing any crossover into the game. What I meant was to create an original character based on 2B. There were some good ideas back then in the previous topic, like making her a golem girl. Sounds interesting to me.

      Just a suggestion, nothing more.

    4. Yeah we need more dark elf girls out here

  5. Can you make all of the old VA lines that are going to be replaced available somewhere? Just for posterity's sake and for comparison.

  7. Well with this new system Vanish should definitely advertise with you. Vanish so good it makes women's clothes disappear, coming soon to a Legend of Queen Opala near you!

    2. I think some ladies from the batman universe would say something like: "Honey that's under his belt".

  8. Masquerade's voice was the only one I really liked (the rest sounded really generic), so this is good news to me.

  10. Gabe I was wondering if the characters in-game sprites will also change based on the damage that they receive in-battle.

  11. okay, so i dont mean to harp, but i never got a reply to my last question about the egyptian trio's measurements. i hate having to eyeball things like this, especially since it tends to piss off the fans when i dont get details right.

so i just need the basics for Farah, Opala and Osira.

Height, bust, waist, hips, etc. and cup size if possible. though with farah i understand if that detail is difficult. i can be descriptive in that case.

again, not NEEDED, but would be much appreciated and would make my life MUCH easier in the long run.

    1. Pretty sure there is no set measurements, even within Gabes own work, Gabe as said before that it's open to the artists preferences. Obliviously within the set traits of Farah has the biggest tits, Osira is taller than Opala etc.

      Delete
    2. true, but even knowing their HEIGHT would make my life much easier. measurements are the one part of creating a character i struggle with. because i want it to be somewhat believable and not over the top. at least not without need.

especially since my stories aren't erotic in nature. thus i typically need to be a bit more conservative with such things when i write.

anyways, you can see my dilemma. i'm not saying i NEED them, it just gives me something to work with.
