I should really do something about the title names for these updates, they don't exactly make the blog look exciting when several weeks are named the same thing in a row...

Anyhoo! The CG Scenes for the Art Gallery is done being remade at last, and I'm focusing on the next thing which is the final cutscene taking place during the Colussia arc, although I may add an optional one in there as well.
Then there is the matter of the next beta I said should be out this month too, but unfortunately I may have to delay that one week so I can get this cutscene done and wrap up the Colussia arc.
To release something right now would make things a bit complicated as the story currently has your party split up to cover more ground, and releasing a beta before they join up again means the "post-game" content for where the last beta left off would have you go alone with none of the female partymembers showing up anywhere.
So I apologize about that, but the additional wait won't be for long!

And with that, I'll see you again next week!

  1. Ok this is going to be random but hearing that the party is split up makes it for a perfect opportunity to put a fallout Easter egg like the main character finding a costume similar to the Lone Wanderer... get it.. yeah it's random. But hey speaking of costumes any plans of adding some more they're pretty cool for those that participate in the fashion Wars of gaming!

    1. Isn't the Lone Wanderer outfit in itself a Easter egg, with the costume being based on Mel Gibson's Mad Max?
As for additional outfits, it's certainly possible!

  2. But what about those who like consistency? You now have an entire month of equally titled updates. Thats gotta be worth something.

Save your creativity for the game. It deserves it more than your blog does.

    1. I am actually curious about whether or no Van is a "she" or a "he". Pretty sure that with his physique and appearance both are good in my opinion.

    2. It's something I'll try to drag out for as long as I can! ;D

    5. Speaking of dragging things out any updates about that alternate reality you can access? The one you access by using a crystal in the forest. I am actually curious about the story behind that, is it a future where the snake god wins, who is sealed inside the shrine so many questions but no answers.

  4. Have you thought about adding an option to make the text box more transparent? The text box take up a lot of the scenes. Every update I have to extract the images just so I can fully enjoy them.

    1. But you can see the scenes in the gallery without text boxes, and if I made them more transparent during the scenes themselves, it would become very hard to read the text.

    3. Well the gallery poses a different problem all together. I want to see the scenes and the text you know. I mean seriously you should see my save folder I move from version to version. It has 40+ saves, most being before scenes, on 2 different editions and its only growing. Each file is renamed to a general description of the scene plus edition, so each time I want to see the scene I have to rename it and drag it back into the main directory. I'm so happy to hear that's going to change eventually, but I might just miss my save folder.

As for making the text Illegible, you could just make the box itself 70% transparent and keep the actual text as opaque. I've seen a few games do this to success.

Its just kind of frustrating when a good sixth of the scene is taken up by a text box, I hope you can understand.
