Winter is coming...and the christmas release of episode 3!
Been a busy week for sure, I've went over every cutscene and character dialogue in the game to make sure all costumes are correctly displayed and that the emoticons are showing what you are wearing, since a few of them does change the emoticon.
I've also added a CG selection preview when you start a new playthrough/game, included nine more Legendary Monsters to cover every enemy type and fixed a few minor bugs.
So with that, the private release of episode 3 will be this Friday for my Patreons, with a public release being posted right here on the blog the 24th as that will already be next Tuesday!

Oh, I am very excited indeed! It feels like ages since Episode 2 (about 1 year and 8 months, if I'm doing the math right), but it seems like it'll be worth the wait. You've been doing a good job of keeping your games polished, which is hard enough to find with any games these days - it's a difficult craft when all is said and done, especially especially if your dev team consists of just one person, so it still impresses me how rarely I run into bugs. I haven't played any of the betas this year, but I'm looking forward to the changes you've made, especially to the UI and lewd battle sprites, which usually helps to sell the idea that you're playing a porn RPG. This'll certainly make for a lovely Christmas present. Thank you, Gabe.

Do I miss anything noteworthy in Episode 3 if I just use the orb instead of starting a completely new game?
The only thing you're missing is the opening cutscene, which I think has been slightly changed or tweaked since episode 2...the opening animation is definitely new. :D
DeleteBut you can just start a new game to see that, then use the Orb of Restoration on your old save. :)
Out of all the games I played, I don't think I've ever been looking forward to the release of a game!! Really excited and really hyped

Deleteeach and every year (impossible to count how many) i am excited for next release and always end up satisfied and even though there are few things not to my taste (or fetish) the level of writing and story and characters keep me starved for more and happy for each update (especialy since every time i start from 0 for full experience and every minor changed or added detail)

DeleteHey, Gabe. Big fan here. I was wondering if you were still accepting artwork from fans to be added to the game? If so, would you accept yaoi? Since Van's punishment with the Val'Tores, I've been wanting to do some artwork of him, both as solo pics and some pics of him getting "punished" more. Would that be something you'd be interested in?

ReplyDeleteIt's usually best if you start over since little things that are changed can break the game if you have something you aren't supposed to or don't have something you are or even if something as simple as a small prop was added that interferes with the travel path of a character. It's not always needed but if you encounter a bug or something while playing with your save try to rush a new save to that point in the game. If it happens again it's a legit bug. If not then broken save.

You see, my favourite caracter in the Loqo series is Osira and I like her for her appereance and personality. I know that She is evul and that, but I believe She can be redemeed. I have an idea for a spin off game that focuses on Osira and the player character can redeem her or not, depending on the choices. In short, I want a game with Osira as the female protagonist. I hope that You will consider my idea
