Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Emoticon 2

Thuesday update!

And to present the results from the previous poll, you fans were asked who out of the three original females in the LoQO games was your favorite, and this time 2518 people voted!

Osira
Won by 41%, being 1049 of the votes.
Farah
Second with 37%, 938 of the votes.
Opala
Came last, 21% with 531 of the votes.

And before people scream bloody murder, yes, there was cheating this time too with Osira getting around 400 votes that won't count, which mean she is actually nearly tied with Opala instead while Farah got a huge win of both of her daughters votes combined!

This week I'm sharing another emoticon from the game, this time Laquadia - Normal Expression.
For some reason the original JPEG emoticon came out slightly grey and tried to download itself as a txt file when you clicked on it, so I've updated with the PNG version instead, should fix it! :3

Otherwise I don't have much news, beta is still coming this month, there are just a few things that takes ages to add and correct, been working two full days on the gallery alone, and that is even though I imported the LoQOII version and focused all attention on modifying the layout instead and better graphics...still took 12 full hours of pure work to add what "little" you can access when the beta finally hit. xD

And that'll be all for this week!

    1. Hehe, could be a connection there...or it could just be the artist behind the emoticons giving her such eyes because I said she was a evil character. ;)

    2. She is hot as hell
      I love evil character :3

  2. As much as I love Farah, I don't really think she belongs in this weeks poll, she's not really a "new" character if she's just younger.

It would have made more sense to replace her with Eclipses mother.

    1. Well since no one really knows the personalities of these girls yet, they could basically only judge by character designs. ^^

  3. LoQO origins, LoL, DnF, Layton vs Wright... I'm not gonna have much free time in the next several weeks

    3. Yeah...Peach, Zelda, Armor-less Samus and WiiFit Trainer has that effect on people. :D

    4. I think that we are all going to be paying more attention to Zero-Suit Samus this time 'round since Nintendo (or more likely Bandai-Namco) has given her character model high heels, and a body type very reminiscent of Ivy's. Some people are calling it a controversial move, but the heels serve a purpose, and the Chozo suit-less Samus was already walking, talking fan-service anyway, so I say why complain.

    8. Thanks for the link.

She looks hot as hell, and I totally didn't feel like I was looking at a screen grabbed from a Dead or Alive game when I viewed that image. :)

  5. Are there full versions of these emoticons that show their entire bodies? Or did the artist just draw the faces only? It would be cool to see if he draws tits as well as he draws faces!

    1. Only the faces, he might draw some optional art for this game down the road...otherwise you have to turn to LoQOII to get some of his good stuff!

  6. Quick question. I haven't gotten around to finishing LoQOII yet. I know, shame on me. But, will playing the Origins beta have any spoilers for that game?

  7. In my eyes this poll result is the best possible outcome^^
The mother is always a bit more experienced in the ways of the world then her daughters, so they just have to learn and become as good as her xD
Also: good balance between good and "evil", vaginal and anal or animals and monsters
Well, in the end one cant really decide between them anyways^^ They are all really lovely ladies

  13. Oh wow Gabe, Beta this month? There's not much of this month left!

Shame to see the polls continue to be manipulated. It's great that you want to listen to the community, but it's also good you seem to be taking things with a grain of salt. Creative vision is important and I hope you'll follow yours.

You had mentioned the limited scope of the Beta - are you considering the Beta to be a demo from the start of the game to a certain point or as an overview of the game mechanics? I ask because if there are minigames or other things planned, a Beta might be a good opportunity to test a simple version of everything to get feedback.

    1. I'd say it's more of a demo of everything I've added to the game up to this point. :3

  15. Is there voice acting in the beta?

    1. No, I didn't want that to be a factor if I'd have to delay the first beta or not.
Mind you, I only speak of the FIRST beta release, there will of course be voiced added to the game along the way. :3
