In the last poll, it was asked...no wait, there was no poll this time! How about that!
If nothing else, the weekly polls will make a return once the first episode of LoQO: Origin is released, hopefully next month, when a fresh new batch of poll ideas will be possible.
But in the meantime, why not have a look and enjoy Osira's battlepose?
She is the evil sister of Queen Opala, and will return with a new, strong allied on her side in search for power and with the intention to settle a thing, haunting her from the past...
So, what is new for this week?
Not really that much, they're doing very loud appartment repairs which have left me with basically no sleep for the last five days, with the exception of the weekend, and it would be really unwise to do game work that requires absolute concentration when you're a train-wreck.
But I've still done "something", of course! Like changing how text shows up during the scenes, adding more trading cards, along with a few minor tweaks like making the toggle button for Sprinting Mode easier and more accurate.
I also believe the next beta version will hit during the weekend, next week.
Aiming for this one would be a little too optimistic, since I don't know if I'll get to sleep.

ReplyDeleteBy the way, in the first game, I didn't really understand her intentions on the ending where you take the 4 crystal powers for yourself but then tell her anyway, after you defeat Khaan and go to her she feels very thankful to Jake and tries to say something but then hesitates. Did she have feelings for Jake or something?
PS: I just realised this battlepose is a "remake" of her first one, that's pretty awesome, props to the artist for that. Kinda nostalgic.

DeleteI'll never get tired of Osira. It's as fun to watch her dominate Farah/Opala as it is to see the tables get turned on her. If it's not too much of a spoiler to ask, is she going to be a direct antagonist this time around, or are we going to get to work with her again?

I'm not saying it should be in Episode 1 but you know the revelation could be dealt in Ep.2
As for the yuri-content... I personally (and I guess a huge part of the fandom for that matter) would like to see more yuri... not ordering you around or something like that, but this would be an awesome opportunity of bringing the fans something they ask for and also bringing something new (I mean the formula of male antagonist and Osira allying with him got kinda old...)

And just one last question, do you ever see yourself moving forward from RPG Maker and someday making a full-on game ourself (or with your own staff)?
It's going to be kind of a mix between LoQO Mansion, LoQOII Greenfield and a dose of new content.

DeleteOff topic, but is there a Frankenstein-ish NPC randomly appearing in the Hollow Gorge? Seems like he appears with every lightning strike for a fraction of a second. I managed to pinpoint some locations, but nothing happens...

It's there and probably has something to do with the abandoned house and the two levers and the six graves just before the big cave. One cross is a little broken too (top right one).
DeleteThere's one rare monster in that zone as well, but that's it for now.
Hehe, it is more or less just a little "spooky" side-location for now..but it will play a bigger role, later on. ;)

OP. Most likely no beta this week, probably next week during the weekend. I really like how Gabe keeps us updated though and it shows how much she works with the community. I've supported others via Patreon who never really felt the need to notify anyone of anything.

Since I am terribly late with things as usual and didn't pay for the first of this month I'd like to push my luck and hope to get a copy of the next beta. Now normally I can be a good little boy and wait but wanting to see Farah's tits banged eight ways to Sunday make a bit more...primitive?

DeletePatreon only withdraw donated funds at the end of each month, so you only get access to the content for the month you've pledged for.
DeleteSo if you donate during January, you'll get access for all of February, even if you cancel your pledge during the first day in February.
In theory, if I gave away pledge rewards before I even get the donations, people could donate bogus amounts, snatch the rewards, then cancel the pledge before even giving a cent, and still walk away with all the rewards. :P
So basically if you donate money in January you're actually pledging for February and get rewards come February.

ReplyDeleteNo, because knowing they are mini-scenes to begin with makes them easier to add, making it a full scene doesn't just cost a lot more, but requires much more time to write.

I've mentioned before that all the women in the boobchart are romanceable, so that's 10+ different women already.

DeleteI assume the 9th romanceable one is Ra'Tiki and the 10th one is Layla. There's also Illumi somewhere there, who is not included in the boob chart as well.

Yeah, Naluna will be romanceable at some point, and Ra'Tiki/Layla/Illumi is on the list as well, even if they aren't shown in the chart.

DeleteYoung Farah is still Farah. You do realize that if Teen(slave) Farah gets pregnant that those are Opala and Osira Older or younger siblings that will be born.
DeleteAlso if you mean their sisters are the same age as them(Twins) or nieces that are also the same age which means you would have to get them pregnant while Farah is pregnant and I doubt Gabe would have that.
My Opinion is as follows:1). Gabe won't let them have sisters Twins or otherwise until the last game because in LOQO1&2 you could get married but never stayed married in the next game. 2). As mentioned before if you want nieces within the age range of Opala and Osira they would both need to be pregnant while Farah is pregnant with them and I highly doubt Gabe will have that in the game do to laws and such though I do not know if Sweden has the same laws on the matter like the U.S.
I forgot to give my overall opinion is that 1). Gabe won't set anything as canon such as the three girl's children and lovers to avoid pissing players off about limiting love interest and questioning the LOQO timeline such as if they had sisters their age why weren't they mentioned before and why haven't we got to fuck them yet(earlier)?
Delete2). How are Opala and Osira daughters the same age as them? While Naluna could go into the future and bring them back it seems unnecessary since she hates Farah more than them and for the most part has no reason to since her plan for Farah seems to be working perfectly.
Now my question to Gabe is any chance we will see characters from LOQO2 in origins and if yes will be able to fuck them or at least see them fucked? While it was nice seeing their daily fap images I would like to see some scenes.

DeleteAnd since you mentioned time travelling I thought it was an established thing in the LOQO universe and you could thereby be able to go to the future or let those nieces come from the future on some Trunks-kind-of-style without them mentioning who their father would be which would be up to the player's interpretation (sorry if you may have trouble understanding since English isn't my mother language :S)
Here is how I see how the LOQO:origins storyline affects the LOQO universe. If origins PC is the pharaoh(like I expect) then the after story is set in that the true end for the game is the player and young Farah goes back in time to create Egypt. Which results in all this shit happening which means the only way for a half sister to exist is to redo LOQO1&2.

As for nieces while that seems plausible I would prefer if they had their own story instead of tacking them on to origins since Farah seems to be the focus of it and I feel like it would cheapen them and origins.
One thing I could see for some fun Yuri content is a portal to an alternate reality in which Farah only believes that sex is for reproduction and not fun and our good ol'slutty Farah that we have come to know and love has to open her mind,while Opala and Osira have traded places.Would certainly have some fun "fuck yourself" moments.
Also, maybe coloring the enemy mobs that come with the golden beetle...gold, just as a visual cue something is different, kinda like you do with the legendaries and rare monsters in all your games so far.
