Here we have the battlepose for Zweibelle, the great alchemist and a character best described to have the personality of a scientist/nurse.
She can't quite be so easily aligned to good/evil side as she is merely following the path she consider is a requirement for the evolution of the world, although she is working for the Beldorian Empire.
To say much more would likely be some spoiler territory, but she'll be introduced in episode II before it ends!

On that note, this week has been spent on further working on Castle Warrengard and I'm really happy how it's turning out with the first impression being this crumbling old fortress inhabited by Baron Ironard and his bandits who clearly have no interest of returning it to its former glory and simply use it as their base. (Along with Naz'Raala)
Which is going to be a strong contrast to the fully upgraded, finished version that looks more like the Imperial Castle in Colussia.

And with that, I'll see you next Tuesday like clockwork!

  1. I like the idea of her going to battle with a nice big set of potions and poisons. Or like she has a small flash of one chemical inside a bigger flash of another chemical, and we she throws it and they both break, the chemicals will react and make a fireball, or explosion.

It would be kinda cool since it can explain her having RPG Maker spells but not use magic and that way the lore for why you shouldn't use magic in LOQO can be respected.

Since that plot point, I never use wizards in the games :-P

    1. Hehe, that is actually a very good suggestion...someone has been keeping himself updated on the LoQO lore. ;)

  2. Like a swiss clock
The update's here to give us some sweet talk
A taste of characters and lore
    A tease of breasts galore

So thanks to Gabe for another one
And for the breasts and fun

Anyway Zweibelle looks superb in this one and the little preview of her mindset adds to that ten times over, definitely intrigued to see her!

  3. In a series I used to read Tate no yuusha (rise of the shield hero), there was a character who was also a female mad scientist. She was willing to give up her human dignity by becoming a slave to the shield hero so she could carry on her experiments on his lands. She held no discrimination towards any race of people whether they were human or monster or anything because she was only interested in her experiments. In the end the only thing she hates are dragons because dragons in that world have the special ability to mate with and inpregnate any kind of creature whether they were a human or a cow, and when they go into mating season they get a little...aggressive. Apparently she had a bad experience. Zweibelle's character description kind of reminds me of that....and with that last bit of info about the dragon I just realized how well that fits with loqo.

  5. Nice Gabe its interesting that you made a gray character that has their own path that isn't easy influence. I can't wait to see her interact with the other characters.

    1. It's not entirely impossible, but quite unlikely...
I think it'll only happen if my muse get a shot of adrenaline. ;P

  7. How many chapters do you intend on having in LoQo:O

    1. If Gabe follows what she did with the first 2 games there will be 3 chapters and possibly a gold edition sometime after the game's official release.

    2. Three chapters has been the norm so far, but LoQO:O might turn into four chapters as it's much bigger in scoop than LoQOII.

  8. I wonder how drastic she can be with her ideology and what her definition of an better world is.

  9. Hmmm, I just noticed she has monocle. According to the game, someone with a monocle acquired certain ancient documents that they aren't supposed to have access to. I wonder if......nah, I'm just over thinking it. :P
