I gotta confess...it's been a really good week! :D

The auditions I've got so far for Masquerade/Laquadia has been really positive with a few candidates even surpassing the old one! So the deep concerns and worries I had about finding a suitable replacement for Masquerade seem to have been for naught. x3

On top of that, 60 more lines has been added to the game, this time with Beatrix, and I've updated Farah and Gabrielle's battleposes as well to include the new ones for all the outfits, including their "Embarrassed" variations which I've decided to name "Distressed" instead since it has a broader meaning.

I've also finished all the indoor locations for Odidania, so even if I don't have time to add all the NPC's before this weekend, you'll be able to explore the city and experience all of this on Saturday when I release the next beta!

That makes it a pretty good update this time, yeah? I got more stuff lined up to show you in the upcoming weeks so it'll be a while before I have to reverse back to the boring "Update" title. ;3
See you guys again next Tuesday!

  1. OMG, I love this new Gabrielle pose! I cannot wait to see here and Farah in action on Saturday. Now I have much more incentive to grind when I replay the game!

And you say the Laquadia and Masquerade voices surpass the old ones? Laquadia maybe but Masquerade? I must hear to believe.

    4. And if you intend to go deep, use rubber gloves!

  3. Is pushing your rear and breast out a natural battlepose in the LoQO-verse or is that just one of Gabrielle's things? I mean, it fits with her logic. (ツ)

Question: The VA voiced both Masquerade and Laquadia, yet you only talked about a new voice for the former, so will the new VA only voice her or did you phrase it like that because you think Masquarade's type-o-voice is harder to pull off?

    2. Well you see, by pushing out their breasts they can distract and/or lure enemies to attack that spot which is soft and can absorb damage. Attracting damage to this area reduces the chance of enemies attacking more vital areas or places with bones that can break. If an enemy specializing in close combat is lured in, then the rear (which is more durable than the breast, can be swung in to bash the enemy. The rear can also be used to deflect/repel enemy attacks. These are the basics to female combat in loqo.

    3. I eagerly await a character class that actually supports this, with metal bras in the weapon slot! (^-^)d

    4. Unfortunately(or fortunately?), Gabriel has said in the past that the women of Loqo do not wear bras.

    5. Kay, metal nipple covers it is then. (._. )

    6. Back to the original question, yeah, Masquerade's voice is far more tricky to pull off since she has a certain tone to it...while Laquadia is pretty much just "sultry". x3

  4. This new battlepose seems much more detailed and... hmm... appealing than previous one, though it makes Gabrielle look much more serious than one can expect from a complete airhead. :P I can clearly see that those boobies and arse are sticking out quite obviously in mean to joy our eyes, but if all the battleposes will be made in such a manner it will result in that poses looking very alike and... uh... dull. Maybe different sticking out angles will do? ^__^

    1. You mean like, Kythie's battlepose facing the enemy with her posterior or something?

    2. Mhm your idea is quite tempting indeed, though I wonder if it can be classified as battlepose instead of breeding pose. :P I meant something like different frontal angles (either horisointal or vertical), for ex, Kythie can be made as jumping beast on her all-fours with her boobies pressing the floor and her furry humps hovering on top-rear side. Something likje this http://wallpaper.pickywallpapers.com/2560x1440/ready-to-jump.jpg , but with certain changes and additions. ;)

    3. I like the Farah and Gabrielle poses but I see your point. Some variety may be needed for the other characters.

    4. Well, maybe the casters should have their arms raised and backs arched back instead? That would still push their breasts out, allthough it would downplay their rears. But I think it would fit with the typical picture of the class as weak in physical offense/defense but strong in magical attacks.

    5. There are a whole load of variations - casters may have their legs spread in provocative manner (like current Ra'Tiki's battlepose), swordwomen may hold their swords with both hands in order to pop up their nippled orbs, Masquerade may cross her arms in center so that her melons burst out in different directions... I believe Swegabe have quite enough imagination and samples from other games/arts to come out with some really kinky poses. If she'll feel like creating them, that's it. )

    6. How about different battleposes for each Masquerade fight that show her decreasing sanity? Like, the first one still makes sense, but at the last fight, she fights doing a handstand with her legs in a 90° angle and her boobs blocking her view?

    7. Might be a little early to play the "samey" card, there has only been two made so far and their distress poses are nothing alike either their standard pose or the other's distress! ;P

    8. It's sure refreshing to know that we are worrying for naught. ^__^ Now if you excuse me, I have to go and let out today's stress with some another cards - Black Dame's and Layla's, to be precise. ^ww^
