Legend of Queen Opala: Origin - Update

Believe it or not, it's been a week since the last Tuesday! And that means update time!

Although it's going to sound like I've done a lot less than I have, because this whole week I've been working on this pretty significant cutscene that'll reveal some plot points, one or two perhaps more obvious than others, but it's also a cutscene that ends with another full CG Scene!
I'm entirely to blame, of course, because I'm picky and keep re-writing and re-arranging the dialogues to make sure it doesn't reveal too much, yet at the same time lets all involved characters stay in...uhh...character.
I'll probably go over the cutscene two or three more times, but then it's all done and I can jump directly into the CG Scene, which should take less time, and be finished by the next update

Oh, and unrelated, I was recently interviewed by Doujins.com if anyone want to read up on it.
Probably nothing new, except the part where I might've hinted towards what'll come after Origin is finished, even though that is still ways off. x3

And with that, I'll see you guys again at the next Angry Ra'Tiki Show!

  1. According to the interview, you are a man. Are we to believe that you being a man is now officially canon?

    1. I never correct people online when they address me.

    2. Yeah that’s true. Just figured it would be different for an interview.

    5. Well Gabe did mention that Gabrielle was based after them. So take that as you will.

    6. Gabe is represented very accurately in LoQOII putting his considerable equine girth inside of Farah (iirc). And just like Gabe irl, you gotta pay for the good times.

    7. Wasn’t Gabe the horseman somewhat based on her too? Lol. I don’t know why I’m so unsure of myself, something a long time ago (probably Gabe herself) made me sure she was a she but I don’t remember what it was. So now that everyone alternates between calling Gabe he or she, I have no idea and it’s like this fun mystery.

    8. That is correct, both Gabrielle and Gabe the Horseman is based on me...but so is Gab the Feline, which is another furry character I have since my fursona days. xD

In reality, the identity of my "me" is a bit of a running mystery on purpose...it would surely help me get babes if I confirmed to be a guy, and it would be a lot easier to get attention if I confirmed to be a girl. ;)

    9. A third persona!!!??? I’ll give up on analyzing it cause it just takes me further down a rabbit hole. I’ll just believe you’re a girl.

    10. Let's just say that Gabe is a futa so both parties can be happy.

      I can live with that.

  2. Nothing gets the blood pumping like a full CG scene and Lore for the near future, i think the word for that is hype!

  3. Question time. :-P
Since it's canon that Eclipse used to fuck Gabe the Horseman, does Eclipse see it as gay sex? Does Eclipse view himself as Bisexual?

    1. My guess is that for him, any hole's the goal.

    2. Never got far enough in the past games to meet eclipse, but now I know I don’t want to.

    3. Well if we take that every illustration in the game is a canon moment. then Eclipse fucked Gabe in one of the special extra illustrations in LOQO II.

  4. I really hope Van is a futa. No matter what RPG-style game I play if there is a chance that I can play with just one male protag and nothing but female party members, Imma doing it, Fuck balancing.

    1. My hopes are on gay guy, a nice fem trap to help the hero out in the mens locker room.

    2. Me too. I don’t know but I feel like a futa party member could be like the ultimate friend with benefits. You could either romance her or you both could double team some other chick like Kythe used to be able to do.

  5. Alright! I'm already getting excited. Gotta rescue the girl and get some "appreciation" from Beatrix.
On a side note would it be possible to add a simple text-skip feature for the more seasoned players? (I've played through from the beginning to the end of each current version probably around 20-30 times)

  6. The angry Ra'Tiki show sounds like a great concept for a children's show. (^-^)d

Now I wonder what happens when you mess up and characters don't stay in character though...?
Laquadia having any redeemable personality traits?
Osira offering help for free? Mhu'Tiki and Ra'Tiki getting along?

    1. I thought it was a parody of the angry joe show but I could be wrong. I don’t know how popular he is.

    2. Ah! That would make sense. His views on videogaming seem to allign with SweGabe's quite a bit, so I wouldn't be surprised if she's among his audience.

    3. That's actually true, it was an Angry Joe reference. ;)

    4. You know, if you make a few full body emoticons, you could make an Angry Ra’tiki show on YouTube and rake in a bit more money (if they stop their bullshit) having a cute, angry catgirl tell me how lootboxes suck could be quite entertaining.

  7. Interesting interview I like to know and understand about a artist as well as their vision. From one artist to another.

  8. Bet Van its gonna be a tomboy girl, faking as a boy due to man acting diferently towards soldier girls, something about its appearance points to that, just sayin..
