I-It's still Tuesday in 'MURECA!

Alright, so here is a preview of the battlepose for the main character in the new art style, I picked the wolfman this time because...well, look at him, he gets even me going! 8D
I'll give you a look on the human version next week, as the beastman and human battleposes are slightly different.

In terms of game development, I've been working on adding Naz'Raala (Steel Demoness) as the next character for the tent mechanic, although you'll be having your fun with her down in the Castle Warrengard prison...unless you already let her go, then tough love.
I've also taken the tent mechanic, literally to the streets, as your party members will now always show up in towns and may be convinced for a rumble outside...although the time of day and you relationship status will play a part in their answer, with Mhu'Tiki clearly always up for some fun while, say, Ra'Tiki would be harder to convince.
Some girls would probably never agree, even if you have high relationship standing, that's where the "Ambrosia" item comes into play you've been able to purchase from the Reward Store.
Pop the lid on that thing and even Beatrix might not be able to resist her urges!
It also helps by-pass relationship standing so you can get to the good stuff sooner!

And with that, I'll see you guys again next week on totally a Tuesday too!

  1. Soooo, is the Steel Demoness going to stay in prison forever?

  2. Oh god what have you done Gabe with the "Ambrosia" now i'm picturing the PC on a shady street corner talking to Ra'Tiki something like: hey little girl want some drrruuugs...

  3. Gabe. All I wanted was Ra'tiki in the tent. All I expected was Ra'tiki in the tent. And then you go and give me ALL THIS!? You are officially among the top game developers of all time! If I could I would hug you!

    1. For those who like the basics of the tent mechanic is going to be in for a treat. :D

  4. I'm just picturing Devon buying the drugs. "I wonder what this is all about". He opens it and gets a facefull by accident... They find him 3 hours later in the town square, butt naked and jerking off over a slightly boob shaped cobblestone.

    1. Lol, that would be the kind of "accident" that kinda ruins the character and reduces him to below-Jake tier. xD

    2. Actually that drug might be useful in a fight. Throw it at a monster and toss it a spare trading card. Let it wank itself while the party cuts its head off.

  5. Its seems strange that if i'm playing the Wolfman that Beatrix would needs almost any convincing at all, in fact you would think she would need repellent to stay off of you. Anyway I love the new Pose, it looks great!

    1. How so? She got a thing for wolfmen? ;P

    2. Well considering the way she acts and her past partners, I would assume so.

    3. No, she doesn't seem to have a preference for beasts over humans. She only did it with a val toras because she lost a fight and that's her people's custom (even if she ended up liking it). And I'd say her relationship with Tharg is just cause they are close. Cause even as a human if you talk with her at the right moments it's clear that she does like you and appreciates your attention even if she has no intention of acting on it.

    4. That last parts definitively true. I do feel that she that she has a thing for anything that's stronger, I guess that just translates to beast in my head.

    5. I'm not sure if it has to be specifically stronger too. Cause I don't know if Devon or Tharg are stronger. And beating someone in a fight doesn't necessarily mean the person was stronger.

  6. Waitwaitwait, you cannot be saying Steel Demoness is already available to recruit and I missed it. :( Say it's not true... I mean, no, say it's true and I can recruit her and have her in the party (and tent)! +_+

    1. No she is still in the dungeon and hasn't been recruited. She's not joining us in the tent, the tent mechanic is being used in the dungeon

  8. >.> say...do I see that right, the new battlepose for the MC has a heck of a bulge in his pants?

  9. Yes, YES! Now *this* is the RPG hero I can get behind! Keep up the good work, Gabe, I've been wanting street-based solicitations in game since Episode 1. Any chance we'll see extra prostitute scenes like in the first game, except with CGs to go with them instead of voice-only?

...forgive me if that's already a thing, I still need to finish Episode 2. I didn't want to burn myself out before the full game was out.

  12. 1. After using "Orb of Restoration" does all characters keeps their level and statistic after meeting them again in newgame+?

    2. Is there any item that gives experience to characters? As far as I remember there was some potions in previous LOQO games? Or do I have to grind all characters to lv 50 manually by beating monsters 24/7?

    3. Is it possible to get into "Duke's Tavern" in 2.13 version of the game? The game says I should be able to get 42 properties to buy but I have 41/42 and I think the one I'm missing is Dukes Tavern but I can not enter inside of building.

    4. In version 2.13 game says I should be able to get 12 teleport crystals but I have 10/12 and Im pretty sure i got all that are possible to get... Do I missing something?

    5. One position on left from Ruins of the Past in Explorer title I'v some location marked as "????????". Its just not updated information or I'm missing some hidden location?

Thanks in advance for some answers... Im just curious about those things... Especially about Orb of Restoration coz I don't know if i should grind lvl before using it or its pointless...

  13. 1. yes and all (or at least most) items and weapons.
    2. not sure but I think yes.
    3. yes but not after you have completed current content for the beta.
    4. Probably. Though I know there is space for 1 more crystal in the teleport place but I can't find it.

    5. no idea sorry probably easier and faster just to explore the maps to find it.

    1. So what i have to do to get inside Dukes Tavern ?

    2. If you already left it and went up the mointain use orb of restoration and start again or wait til next beta. If not just walk inside wait out the scene then examine the post in there with the purchase thing on it. I am pretty sure you can purchase the tavern though I think I missed it as well

  14. Wow. The more I see of these battleposes by TentacleMonsterChu, the more I wish I could get some for my own characters. Maybe one day…
That said, looking at this has me asking four questions:

    1) Is the protagonist going to end up with a Distressed status variation too? Because, you know, to be fair he probably should…

    2) Exactly what is the Crusader policy on concealed weapons, if any? I’m asking since our dear protagonist seems to be attempting to smuggle something past checkpoint down the front of his pants. This calls for a thorough strip search! *snaps on white rubber gloves*

    3) This might seem a little nitpicky but I’m curious and a little confused; exactly what kind of legs is the beastman protagonist supposed to have? All the battle poses show him with normal humanoid legs, but some of the more recent scenes have him with digitigrade, animal-like ones. Other beasfolk we’ve seen like Layla, Vhazar and Kythie (though she’s a special case) seem to favour the animalistic ones as well. Can beastfolk naturally have either type, or does this have something to do with his mom Cecily being human? Or am I just overthinking it waaaay too much?

    4) Where do we find Ambrosia, exactly? Because I don’t remember seeing it in any shops. But hey, I could have missed something.

Either way, thanks so much for your time and keep the awesomeness coming.
