And here, down below, is a preview of that species I mentioned last week!

I probably gave these critters way too much thought and lore than what the basics would need, although that is what happens when your inner perversion suddenly get unleashed!
While the species co-exist in the same forest, the genders are seperated with the females called Nimpi, curious but shy creatures who are excellent climbers and live among the trees where they use their huge ears to glide between branches, much like a Flying Squirrel.
The male counterpart called Nompi that lives in burrows on the ground will be revealed next week!
The species will likely be an optional encounter I have some really fun ideas about, and give you the chance of "capturing" one of the female critters to keep as your pet.

In more development oriented news, I've unfortunately not made a lot of progress since last update. My muse has been a bit iffy so I've only finished those two cutscenes mentioned before and begun work on a third...but hey, the fourth will be including the first CG Scene for episode 4, so I better whip myself into shape!

And with that, I'll see you next week as always!

  4. Hello Gabe. I just finished Episode 3 after starting a new game and I had a blast. I'm still exploring for all the content and whatnot, but I wanted to throw an idea at you that you (which you might have already considered).

This would be a spinoff game from the Opala series, a sort of present time slice of life with all the girls from the series. I'm thinking 3D models using the meshes created for the figures or potentially more 2D designs. I'm imagining it done in Ren'Py as it would basically be visual novel style, though probably with RPG elements.

For the scenario, I'm thinking we take the ideas of time travel and portals, combine them with the land of Egypt and Greece, and bring all the characters to a modern Earth. It's essentially a dating simulator where our new or old MC lives in a town populated by characters from across all three games. It could take on a high school or college setting, maybe just a town of some sort.

Mhu'Tiki could work at an erotic bookshop. Elin could be a new high school grad. Crayden and Laquadia could run some sort of for-profit religious org. Osira could be a businesswoman trying to corrupt the town council. Opala would be the mayor. Farah could have a night club. Gabrielle could basically be exactly who she already is. Previous MCs could make an appearance, similar to LOQO1's MC being a hidden fight in LOQO2.

Your games have such a rich cast of characters, I'd love to see them in other settings.

    2. You had me for a moment with the 3D models, I was expecting an action adventure or fighting game...

    3. I have been playing Fire Emblem Warriors. Should I contact Team Ninja and see if they want to do another crossover? The time travel and portals in that game that brings characters across the franchise together is part of my inspiration.

    4. I feel like if I ever cross into 3D, I might need to start hiring people since it'd likely be too much work for merely one person, and learning all the ropes would surely take years...although, I do have a spin-off idea in mind with the same female cast, different setting!

  5. Hey Gabe, is there any place to post bugs or the such?
I've been playing Episode 3 and I've had some problems with scenes and such. The biggest being that the Ra'Tiki camp scene isn't activated even though (based on an older guide I still have lying around) I should be able to activate it by now.
    Any thoughts on that?

    1. It's possible that particular scene just triggers later, and it only triggers if you have been hitting on Ra'Tiki whenever given the option.

    1. In theory, you should be able to customize any sound effects, voices and music in the game if you replace the default files with other ones if you have them named exactly the same.

And if you still get stuck in the wall, you aren't playing the most recent release. (3.01)

  7. Hey Gabe, loving Origin so far, best one in the trilogy! I have to say though, after learning that finally the girls got a naked outfit, I'm disappointed that most of the them don't get, you know, 100% naked. Gabrielle even gets boots in that outfit. What gives? Are you considering changing that?

Looking forward to the next update!
