UPDATE - Think I've narrowed down the "not responding" issue to being license related.
May have to purchase the program a second time to work around it since my old serial is probably gone and I can't find a way to input it anyhoo.

Got some good news and some really bad ones...

Let's start with the bad, my computer died today and took so much with it.
Thankfully I always back up my work every time I finish, so not a second has been lost.
However, a ton of assets were not as lucky, along with stat tracking I was keeping.
My old computer was so ancient, in fact, it ran on Windows 7 and the one I'm using now is Windows 11 Home, which might as well be in alien language because barely any features are still there and/or doesn't work like it used to.
I'm also unable to access RPG Maker XP due to the program "not responding", so I'll have to try and figure that out before I can get back on track and continue working.
It's just been a bad day for me and I'm feeling pretty depressed.

I'll update this post once I've cracked whatever is preventing me from opening RMXP.
Run program as an Administrator? Firewall exceptions? Don't know how to do any of that on this OS!

But hey, still didn't miss out on the Tuesday update...always something! :3

Merry Christmas and here's to hoping it'll get sorted soon!

    1. I sincerely hope so too.
Otherwise all that extra work I spent getting it ready before New Year's Eve will be wasted. Dx

  2. Weirdly wasn't aware RMXP didn't run on 11. The games made with them seem to work universally thankfully. Hope you don't have to resort to running a VM full time just to get one thing going.

    1. Nah, it runs on Windows 11.
There are just a whole brigade of issues Microsoft will happily cause, and its your problem as the user to fix them. x3
