And to remind everyone, my goal is to make LoQO: Origin IV episodes to conclude every story thread and pace them nicely together across the game.
As for actual game development, it's been a slow week and I've mostly been arranging/making assets and prepping the game for the inclusion of all the new trading cards and the International Version, which should be included (or very close to it) by the time we reach Tuesday next week!

you combined two of my favorite things harpies and huge over sized breasts <3 :D but I do have to say as much as I love your characters and their boobs and i DO love there boobs like alot like if you had to judge by size... you get the point I think it'd be a nice change of pace to have smaller breast girls in the roster like Ra'tiki and like i said I do love me some big boobies

Well, it's probably for the best, considering how many new nice characters appear one after another in the Origin.
Anime has conditioned me to feel harpies should have small breasts but nice, slight big butts. But damn, Paellicia is HOT. Another successful monster girl!

DeleteActually she may be able to fly, albeit not for long, you know kinda like wild turkeys and chickens. Yes, wild turkeys can in fact fly. Of course it would require her muscles to be super strong-capable of lifting several times her weight-and this will result in the bones being super dense as well.

DeleteI hope she's gonna save her modest trait. She looked really interesting being usually so calm and restrained, and then showing her playful side after drinking too much (both booze and cum) and riding horses in a special way so that they fainted shortly after. ;-)
Maybe she could even surpass Gabrielle one day.

ReplyDeleteThe problem with newer RPG Maker engines is the same as your everday game by big publishers, each new entry look better but lacks in content.
DeleteRPG XP doesn't have the best graphics or the most tools to work with for new developers, but it offers a ton of resources and freedom for experienced users.
I just want to be able to go proper fullscreen :(
DeleteActually, I find that RPGM XP is a lot more aesthetically pleasing than VX onward... since VX onward opted out for more cartoony/chibi default graphics and it shows, just Google some screenshots of games between the two. Also, I think VX Ace actually has more scripts available due to a bigger/longer community, while the latest MV is the most flexible one for programming because it can handle Javascript
DeleteSo yeah, I'd actually say the opposite, and say XP has the best graphics, but lacks in tools. I mean, surely you are aware how wonky/difficult it was to implement sprinting in the game, something trivial in VX+.
Ultimately though, all the graphical assets are technically fully customize-able. So if someone REALLY wanted to try, they could just export/reformat all the graphical assets from XP into MV...
Personally, VX Ace is my favorite visually. It reminds me of the style of a lot of the games for Nintendo handheld systems. I'm not a huge fan of the full size sprites of earlier stuff and I dislike the look of the customizable assets of MV (the generic sprites and games with original sprites tend to look okay to me, though). I mean, the customizable ones in VX Ace look a ton worse, but less people seemed to use them in games (probably for that very reason).
